Job Description:

   

Technical Product Manager focused on converting complex HPC and AI platform capabilities into field-ready, customer-facing technical assets that improve sales productivity, shorten deal cycles, and increase solution adoption.
 

Job Family Definition

Designs, plans, develops, and manages technical product assets that accelerate customer adoption across the solution lifecycle, including sales enablement content, technical papers, configuration guides, reference architectures, and demo blueprints.
 

Management Level Definition

Contributions impact technical components of HPE products, solutions, or services regularly and sustainably. Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to solve complex business issues and is regarded as a subject matter expert. Provides expertise and partnership to functional and technical project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives. Exercises significant independent judgment to determine the best method for achieving objectives. May provide team leadership and mentoring to others.
 

Responsibilities
  • Lead and drive the end-to-end strategy and execution roadmap for technical sales enablement assets across one or more HPC and AI products.
  • Define the technical value proposition, target buying and user personas, and business impact narrative to support portfolio success (adoption, win rate, revenue influence, and margin outcomes).
  • Translate MRDs, PRDs, and field feedback into customer-ready technical collateral, including white papers, solution briefs, configuration guides, and deployment playbooks.
  • Advise key stakeholders on enablement strategy across all lifecycle phases, including launch, expansion, and end-of-life transitions.
  • Create and drive goal alignment across value-chain partners to ensure technical readiness and repeatable field execution.
  • Partner with Engineering on feature validation and technical claims.
  • Partner with Solutions and Presales on demos and proof-of-concept workflows.
  • Partner with Marketing on message-to-architecture consistency.
  • Partner with Sales on competitive positioning and deal support.
  • Own technical demo strategy and assets, including demo scripts, environment requirements, success criteria, and field handoff kits.
  • Partner with Technical Writing and Product Marketing to maintain high-quality internal and external technical collateral with version control and release alignment.
     
Education and Experience Required
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, engineering, or related field of study.
  • MBA or advanced degree in computer science or engineering preferred.
  • 8+ years of work experience in product management, solutions engineering, technical marketing, or related field.
     
Knowledge and Skills
  • Expert collaboration and influence skills across engineering, sales, marketing, and field organizations.
  • Expert ability to convert complex platform capabilities into clear technical narratives, architecture diagrams, and implementation guidance.
  • Expert business acumen with ability to tie technical messaging to commercial impact, including pipeline influence, win/loss trends, and adoption metrics.
  • Strong technical understanding of HPC and AI infrastructure stacks and ability to deliver product-specific technical training.
  • Hands-on capability to define, build, and operationalize repeatable demo environments and technical proof points for customer engagements.
