Vercel is the agentic infrastructure company. We free people and agents to ship what’s next.
For more than a decade, Vercel has shaped how the web is built. As the team behind Next.js, v0, and AI SDK, we create products that help builders move from idea to production with speed, security, and exceptional developer experience.
Now, software is entering a new era, and the next generation of products will not just be used by people. They will be built, extended, and operated by agents.
We are building the platform for that future, trusted by companies like OpenAI, PayPal, Ramp, Supreme, and millions of developers worldwide. Whether you’re building our products, supporting our customers, growing our community, or shaping our story, you’ll help define what comes next.
About the Role:
Vercel is hiring a Senior HRBP to partner with our G&A organizations, Finance, Legal, People, and Security&IT. You'll work directly with C-Suite leaders to build people strategies that drive effectiveness, grow talent, and sustain a high-performance culture as we scale. This isn't a consulting role. You'll be embedded in the business, bringing strategic vision and operational follow-through in equal measure. We want a builder: someone who's guided teams through real inflection points, balances analytical rigor with genuine human-centeredness, and never loses sight of the individual in the system. You speak truth to power, advocate for employees, help leaders make hard calls and you don't wait to be asked.
What You’ll Do:
Strategic Partnership

- Advise on org structure, team effectiveness, and leadership development to support G&A scaling
- Partner with executives on headcount planning and HC allocation to align talent resources with business priorities
Talent & Performance
- Drive talent review and talent development processes across supported organizations
- Coach and develop leaders at all levels, from IC ‘s to managers to VPs, on people management, feedback, and performance
- Lead and support performance management cycles, including calibration facilitation and compensation review
- Partner with Talent Acquisition to build thoughtful hiring strategies and ensure strong candidate experiences
Culture & Employee Experience
- Champion Vercel's culture and values, ensuring they're embedded in the day-to-day experience across G&A
- Identify and act on signals from engagement surveys, stay interviews, and team health check-ins
- Design and facilitate team offsites, workshops, and other programming that foster connection and alignment
Employee Relations & Compliance
- Navigate complex employee relations matters with sound judgment, empathy, and confidentiality
- Ensure consistent and equitable application of HR policies, providing guidance to managers and employees alike
- Partner with Legal on compliance, employment law guidance, and risk mitigation across global jurisdictions
Operational Excellence
- Analyze and interpret people data and trends to inform recommendations and drive continuous improvement
- Contribute to and improve core People programs, onboarding, L&D, DEI, total rewards communication, within your client groups
- Collaborate across the broader People team on cross-functional initiatives and process improvements
About You:
- 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a senior HRBP or HR generalist role supporting corporate / G&A functions
- Experience operating in a fast-scaling, global tech company; startup or high-growth background strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to build trust with senior executives and operate as a genuine business partner, not just an HR service provider
- Deep expertise in organizational design, performance management, talent planning, and employee relations
- Strong analytical skills; you use data to tell stories, identify trends, and inform decisions
- Outstanding communication, facilitation, and executive presence; equally comfortable in a 1:1 coaching session and presenting to a leadership team
- Comfortable with ambiguity; you create structure where none exists and thrive in a fast-moving environment
- Experience with tools such as Workday, Greenhouse, and Notion highly preferred.
Benefits:
- Competitive compensation package, including equity.
- Inclusive Healthcare Package.
- Learn and Grow - we provide mentorship and send you to events that help you build your network and skills.
