We are hiring staff or tech lead equivalent fullstack Product Engineers to build emerging products and to contribute to efforts to build features used across our Product Platform; applications through this link put you into consideration for the following teams:

  • Activation: Responsible for building features that help Vanta clients onboard faster and expand their use of our platform. You'll work across the full stack to deliver customer-facing experiences that drive engagement and accelerate time-to-value for our users. Your work will directly impact our business growth and customer success.

  • Third Party Risk Management: This product was designed to provide software buyers with tools to evaluate the security of their vendors and partners by inventorying vendors, prioritizing risks, automating security reviews and remediating findings. TPRM or Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) presents a massive opportunity for Vanta - representing a market of $5-$10B in ARR and a CAGR of 10.8% driven by secular tailwinds in the industry that requires more focussed and deeper scrutiny of the company’s supply chain.

What you’ll do as a Senior Software Engineer at Vanta:

  • Contribute to roadmap development and planning alongside EM & PM

  • Make effective tradeoffs that consider business priorities, user experience, and a sustainable technical foundation

  • Lead complex projects with multiple stakeholders and engineers to accelerate our roadmap and land impact faster.

  • Collaborate with other teams and engineers across Vanta on cross-cutting engineering initiatives or on building common product primitives.

  • Mentor engineers up to your own level; assigning them tasks and helping them develop their skills over the course of multiple quarters

  • Make effective tradeoffs that consider business priorities, user experience, and a sustainable technical foundation

  • Contribute to building Vanta’s engineering culture as we grow

How to be successful in this role:

  • 8+ years of full stack experience with an emphasis on backend skills.

  • Experience leading teams of engineers to deliver large projects with multiple stakeholders that have spanned over multiple weeks or months.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

  • Experience building user-facing Saas products over multiple years, ideally both for startups and enterprise users

  • Experience building 0→1 products as well as solving large scale problems- especially in environments that prioritize bias for action.

  • Experience with Typescript is a plus- our stack is React, Typescript, GraphQL & MongoDB

  • Open to using AI to amplify their skills and strengthen their work - demonstrating curiosity, a willingness to learn, and sound judgment in applying AI responsibly to improve efficiency and impact.
