About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to drive self-hosted Somewear deployments and manage our cloud infrastructure. This role is ideal for someone who is detail obsessed, a creative problem solver, and is energized when working with end users.

What You'll Do
  • Provision, manage, and scale infrastructure for Somewear Commercial and Gov Cloud offerings.

  • Work directly with customer’s technical teams to deploy & maintain their Somewear Self-Hosted environments.

  • Develop new features for Pilot, Somewear’s deployment management CLI tool.

  • Work with our engineering team to improve software delivery.

  • Deploy new internal solutions to empower our engineering, business, and sales teams.

  • Enhance system reliability, performance, and security with industry best practices.

What We're Seeking
  • Worked 7+ years in Infrastructure, DevOps, SRE, or Backend engineer type roles with a min of 2+ YOE specifically in Infra/DevOps

  • Proficient in utilizing cloud services (GCP, AWS, Azure)

  • Worked with IaC tooling (Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, etc)

  • Effective in a programming language (Kotlin, Java, Go, Python, Rust, etc)

  • Knowledgeable of Linux/Unix systems, networking concepts, and security best practices

  • Preferably had hands-on experience with containerization technologies like Docker & Kubernetes

  • Capable of taking ownership and bringing an idea from conception to production.
