Callan is seeking a new team member to join our Investment Consulting Group. As a senior investment consultant on our team, you will work directly with institutional asset owners on either a discretionary or non-discretionary basis and serve as a trusted adviser, manage client relationships, conduct investment research and strategic investment projects, and develop new business. You will work with institutional clients (including corporate and public retirement plans, endowments and foundations, healthcare systems, taxable trusts, insurance assets, for example) and will also work closely with Callan’s specialty research groups to provide asset allocation, implementation advice, manager research, and performance monitoring services to our clients.

Our goal is to identify a candidate with consulting experience and investment knowledge, intellectual curiosity, a genuine interest in capital markets, and a true appreciation for the value of building strong, trusted relationships with clients and colleagues. For this role, consulting experience with client types including insurance, corporate retirement plans, public funds, healthcare, or non-profit entities is strongly preferred.

This position may be based in any of Callan’s offices in Atlanta, GA; Chicago, IL; Denver, CO; Portland, OR; San Francisco, CA; or Summit, NJ. Preference will be given to candidates located in or willing to work from the Denver, Atlanta, or Summit offices. The candidate is expected to work a hybrid (office/home) schedule, with a minimum of 3 days a week in the office, when not traveling for client meetings.

Callan holds a unique position in the investment industry, working with asset owners, investment managers, custodians, and other service providers in an ever-changing capital market, legal, and regulatory environment. As a senior investment consultant, you will collaborate with colleagues throughout the company, and work with some of the highest-quality and most complex asset owners in the country to help them achieve their investment goals. Callan believes that our organization and culture are made stronger through diverse perspectives and experiences. Along with having an appreciation for Callan’s unique and collaborative culture, your ability to demonstrate success in the skill sets we seek is of greater importance than years of experience.
