As an Senior IT Technical Project Manager, you’ll drive complex, high‑impact IT initiatives across North America, ensuring our systems, people, and processes evolve to support a rapidly growing business. You’ll collaborate with experts across regions, manage transformational programs, and set the pace for excellence in project execution.

How you’ll make an impact

Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.

  • Lead medium, large, and enterprise IT projects from initiation through completion.

  • Monitor project progress, timelines, and resource allocation with precision.

  • Manage project financials and ensure adherence to targets.

  • Identify and mitigate project risks, while capturing and sharing lessons learned.

  • Ensure all activities align with Hitachi Energy project management methodology and quality standards.

  • Serve as the key contact and escalation point, building strong stakeholder relationships.

  • Oversee technology planning and implementation for IT‑related projects.

  • Coach and mentor junior project managers across NAM sites.

Your background

  • 10+ years experience leading large, complex projects.

  • Extensive global project management experience across full program lifecycles.

  • 5+ years hands‑on experience with ServiceNow SPM/PPM Project Management Module.

  • Proficiency in PMP, Agile, Scrum, and Gate Model methodologies.

  • Organizational Change Management experience in a global enterprise environment.

  • Strong financial management skills using MS Project and SAP.
