About This Role
Wells Fargo's Global Payments & Liquidity (GPL) organization is seeking a senior product leader to serve as Head of Financial Institutions (FI) and Non-Bank Financial Institutions (NBFI) Products. This role is accountable for defining, delivering, and scaling a comprehensive portfolio of payments, liquidity, deposit, and digital workflow solutions for bank and non-bank financial institution clients.
This role sits within GPL's Specialty Products group and operates as a senior leadership position with broad accountability across strategy, delivery, and commercialization. The Head of FI Products partners closely with Relationship Management, Treasury Management Consultants, Platform teams, Operations, Technology, Risk, and Compliance to deliver cohesive, scalable, and market-leading solutions.

In this role, you will:
Product Strategy & Target State Design
- Define the target product vision and future-state architecture for FI and NBFI solutions across payments, deposits, liquidity, and digital workflows.
- Define and evolve the target product state and future-state architecture aligned to GPL strategy, platform modernization, and regulatory expectations.
- Shape multi-year roadmaps, investment priorities, and sequencing decisions in partnership with GPL leadership.
- Establish clear product outcomes, success metrics, and portfolio priorities tied to client value, revenue growth, and operational scalability.
- Develop problem statements, solution concepts, and capability maps aligned to FI and NBFI client use cases.
- Partner with GPL leadership to shape multi-year roadmaps, investment priorities, and sequencing decisions.
- Ensure alignment with GPL strategic priorities, platform modernization, and regulatory expectations.
- Drive delivery by orchestrating work across existing GPL platforms and product teams.
- Translate target-state vision into clear capability requirements for platform and technology teams.
- Partner with Technology, Operations, Risk, Finance, Legal, and Compliance to ensure scalable and compliant solutions.
- Manage dependencies and trade-offs to deliver cohesive end-to-end outcomes.
- Serve as senior product point-of-contact for FI and NBFI solutions with Coverage, Relationship Management, and Treasury Solutions teams.
- Partner with Relationship Managers and Treasury Management Consultants to align product strategy with client needs, sales priorities, and market opportunities.
- Represent GPL in strategic client discussions, industry forums, and internal senior leadership engagements.
- Lead market and competitive analysis to drive differentiation and inform roadmap and pricing decisions.
- Conduct market and competitive analysis to inform product differentiation and prioritization.
- Own product governance across the FI and NBFI portfolio, including Product Change, Product Launch, and ongoing lifecycle management.
- Ensure adherence to Wells Fargo risk management, compliance, and regulatory standards.
- Monitor performance, adoption, and financial outcomes to inform continuous improvement and investment decisions.
- Drive accountability and transparency across product initiatives through disciplined reporting and executive communication.
- 10+ years of Product Management or leadership experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 4+ years of management or leadership experience
- Demonstrated experience leading complex, multi-platform product portfolios in large matrixed organizations.
- Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Proven ability to partner effectively with Technology, Operations, Risk, Legal, and Compliance.
- Deep understanding of FI and/or NBFI client segments, payment flows, and operating models.
- Experience serving banks, Fintechs, payment processors, or other non-bank financial institutions.
- Background in commercial payments, correspondent banking, cash management, or market infrastructure.
- Experience delivering products through platform modernization or transformation initiatives.
- Strong strategic, analytical, and written communication skills with an executive-level audience.
