About the Role

We are seeking a Legal Program Manager to support and scale our contracting operations and legal systems infrastructure. This role will primarily focus on owning and evolving our contracting and legal systems processes, partnering closely with Legal and other Business Teams (GTM, Ads, Finance, IT, and Procurement Systems) to improve operational efficiency and user experience across legal and their business partners. In addition, this role will develop and monitor key legal performance metrics and reporting frameworks.

This is a highly cross-functional role for someone who enjoys building structure in ambiguous environments, driving projects end-to-end, and improving how legal teams operate at scale. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable managing programs, optimizing processes, and translating business needs into scalable systems and workflow solutions.

This role is based in San Francisco, CA. We use a hybrid work model of 3 days in the office per week.

In this role, you will:System Ownership & Operational Scaling
  • Design, build, and maintain contracting workflows and automations to improve scalability and operational efficiency.

  • Partner with Legal, Sales, Deal Desk, Procurement, Finance, and Systems teams to identify workflow pain points and implement process improvements.

  • Support integrations and coordination between our contract lifecycle management platform and adjacent business systems.

  • Build and monitor reporting dashboards to identify areas and action plans for scaling and improved efficiency.

  • Identify and implement solutions to utilize OpenAI’s latest technology to scale legal contracting processes.

  • Troubleshoot workflow and system issues, coordinate testing and rollout activities, and support ongoing platform maintenance and enhancements.

  • Develop documentation, training materials, and enablement resources to support user adoption and operational consistency.

Legal Program & Project Management
  • Independently manage medium-scope legal operations programs and projects from planning through execution.

  • Establish project plans, timelines, stakeholder communications, and success metrics across cross-functional initiatives.

  • Anticipate project risks and operational gaps, proactively proposing solutions and driving initiatives to completion.

  • Track and communicate project progress, dependencies, and outcomes to stakeholders.

You might thrive in this role if you have:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 8+ years of experience in operations, program management, contract operations, or related operational roles.

  • Experience supporting cross functional technical systems across Procurement, GTM, Commercial Contracting, and Operations.

  • Familiarity with business systems integrations involving CLM, CRM, eSignature, or ERP platforms.

  • Experience developing workflow documentation, training, or operational enablement materials.

  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage projects and drive cross-functional initiatives in fast-paced environments.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

  • Experience collaborating with technical and systems teams to implement workflow or process improvements.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Comfortable operating in ambiguous environments and building processes where structure may not yet exist.
