Senior Manager, Administration, Procure-to-Pay (Properties)
Summary
Marriott International is seeking a Senior Manager, Administration, Procure-to-Pay (Properties), to join our Procurement Operations team. Procurement Operations is responsible for leading core functions such as governance, vendor support, technology, reporting, and management of revenues and receivables.
The Senior Manager oversees day-to-day BirchStreet administration, resolves issues, and partners with Global Technology and the vendor to support enhancements. This role works closely with property and Continent partners to ensure the platform effectively supports property-level procurement needs.
Required Experiences
- 4- year bachelor's degree from an accredited university in related field appropriate to work position
- 5+ years of experience in Procurement Operations, Procure-to-Pay, Finance Systems, or hospitality operations.
- Experience administering or supporting BirchStreet Systems or similar procurement platforms.
- Strong understanding of Procure-to-Pay processes in a property-level or distributed environment.
Preferred Experiences
- Experience troubleshooting system issues and partnering with technology teams and vendors.
- Demonstrated ability to manage system configuration, governance, and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support global configuration of BirchStreet Systems, including workflows, approval structures, and system settings.
- Ensure consistent system governance and standards across regions, balancing global alignment with operational needs.
- Manage system performance and reliability, proactively identifying and resolving issues impacting property operations.
- Partner with Global Technology (GT) and the BirchStreet vendor to address defects, prioritize enhancements, and support roadmap delivery.
- Support property-level procurement operations by ensuring the platform enables efficient purchasing and invoicing processes.
- Collaborate with property stakeholders to understand system challenges and drive improvements to the user experience.
- Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and optimize platform usage across properties.
- Support system updates, testing, and release management activities.
