Position Summary...The Senior Mgr, Business Analysis & Insights – Tax, Withholdings & Garnishments is a strategic leadership role within Spark Driver Earnings Excellence, responsible for driving the analytics, strategy, and execution behind tax reporting, regulatory compliance, statutory withholdings, garnishments, liens, and independent contractor earnings operations. This leader serves as the critical bridge between Business, Product, Engineering, Tax, Legal, Compliance, translating complex regulatory requirements into scalable, audit-ready solutions that enhance driver trust. Through data-driven insights, automation, and strong cross-functional leadership, this role delivers compliant, accurate, and transparent earnings experiences while influencing product strategy, operational excellence, and future platform capabilities.
About the team:
The Earnings Excellence team sits at the center of the Spark Driver ecosystem, ensuring independent contractors are paid accurately, transparently, and on time. We are responsible for the end-to-end earnings lifecycle, including earnings calculation, tax reporting, withholdings, garnishments, disbursements, compliance, reconciliation, and financial reporting.
 Earnings Excellence serves as the intelligence and innovation engine for the organization. We partner across Tax Operations, Product, Engineering, Compliance and Trust & Safety to transform complex business and regulatory requirements into scalable solutions. Through analytics, automation, AI-driven insights, and continuous improvement, we drive financial accuracy, operational excellence, and regulatory compliance while strengthening driver trust.

What you'll do...
  • Lead the strategy and execution of enterprise earnings compliance initiatives, including tax reporting, withholdings, garnishments, liens, and independent contractor payment operations.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, Tax, Legal, Finance, and Compliance leaders to translate complex regulatory requirements into scalable platform capabilities and business processes.
  • Drive analytics, KPI development, automation, and AI-powered innovation to improve earnings accuracy, operational efficiency, and compliance outcomes.
  • Influence product roadmaps and investment decisions through data-driven insights, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Lead end-to-end business readiness activities, including requirements definition, UAT strategy and execution, defect governance, deployment oversight, and successful production launch.

What you'll bring...
  • Deep expertise in tax operations, payroll compliance, and financial controls, including W-9, 1099, withholding, garnishment, lien, and independent contractor compliance requirements.
  • Proven success leading complex, cross-functional initiatives across Tax Operations,Tech, Legal, Compliance in highly regulated environments.
  • Experience with ADP payroll platforms, including garnishment and lien administration, compliance, deduction management, and reporting.
  • Understanding of gig economy, fintech  and contractor earnings ecosystems.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  •  Demonstrated ability to translate complex regulatory and business requirements into scalable products, processes, controls, and solutions.
  • Leadership presence with strong communication skills, including the ability to drive alignment without direct authority.

Sunnyvale, California US-11807: The annual salary range for this position is $104,000.00 - $202,000.00
Bellevue, Washington US-11663 | Hoboken, New Jersey US-10279: The annual salary range for this position is $96,000.00 - $186,000.00
Bentonville, Arkansas US-30099: The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00 - $155,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
