Who are we hiring?

We're seeking a Senior Manager, Business Operations to serve as a key partner to Sphere Studios & Tech Ops leadership — driving cross-functional collaboration, resourcing strategy, and operational efficiency. This role works across the broader Sphere organization to monitor production demands on the Studios, design scalable workflows, and translate data into actionable staffing and resourcing recommendations. The ideal candidate thrives at breaking down complex problems into clear solutions that drive measurable efficiency gains.

This role sits at the intersection of strategy, analytics and business operations and will report into Sphere’s Senior Director, Business Operations.

What will you do?

  • Design, implement and continuously improve cross-functional workflows
  • Maintain time-tracking process across all Studio & Tech Ops resources and partner with production management to improve resource allocation, scheduling and capacity planning
  • Build and maintain operational playbooks, SOPs and documentation for recurring Studio processes
  • Develop and maintain strong frameworks, dashboards, and KPIs that provide leadership with real-time visibility into production progress, studio utilization, and operational health
  • Support Sphere Studios & Tech Ops leadership with data-driven insights for quarterly business reviews, planning sessions, and executive updates
  • Assist in budget tracking and financial operations
  • Serve as an operational bridge across the broader Sphere teams (Sales, Marketing, Venue Operations) to ensure studio output aligns with enterprise priorities and timelines
  • Drive accountability and alignment across departments by establishing clear ownership, communication cadences, and escalation paths
  • Evaluate and recommend tools, systems, and automation opportunities to increase the overall output and reduce manual effort
  • Provide exceptional experiences for our guests, partners, and team members, including by adhering to our appearance and presentation guidelines while on-site.

What do you need to succeed?

  • 5-7 years of experience in Business Operations, Production Operations, Strategy & Operations, or Consulting
  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively and collaboratively across different functions and levels in a matrixed organization
  • Skillful prioritization of work and ability to manage multiple assignments while maintaining quality and stakeholder relationships
  • Strategic thinker who possesses the ability to effectuate meaningful change and identify opportunities for process enhancement
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication, project management and time management skills

  • Periodic travel between New York, Burbank, Las Vegas required

Pay Range
$130,000$170,000 USD
