The salary range for this position is $127,100 - $152,900 per year. Offered salary is dependent upon experience and San Francisco location. This is a hybrid role based in our downtown San Francisco office – Tues through Thursday in-office, with Monday and Friday remote.

SUMMARY

The Senior Manager, Digital will be responsible for co-developing the overall strategy and driving business on olehenriksen.com, TikTok Shop and Amazon, and ultimately for delivering against sales targets and site/platform KPIs. This individual is both a strategic thinker and a business driver, creating and executing short and long-term plans for digital platforms. The role requires strong leadership, people management, communication and analytical skills.

This role reports to the General Manager of Ole Henriksen.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Digital Strategy

  • Co-develop annual plan, with a clear vision for the overall digital business as well as a distilled strategic direction for each digital channel
  • Drive short and long-term strategies for site and digital platforms to meet and exceed Budget
  • Clearly communicate strategy to and build strong, effective relationships with key cross-functional teams (Marketing, Global Sales and Product, Planning, Creative, Product) to bring to life 360-degree activations
  • Support the budget planning and revision process
  • Lead presentation preparation for management meetings

Account Management & Activation

  • Build best in class partnerships with digital platforms partners to effectively maximize working relationships and deliver on sales goal; be a brand advocate internally & externally: effectively storytell and sell the product pipeline
  • Manage gross to net sales line items as well as sampling, building and delivering on yearly, monthly and daily sales strategies including promotions and discounting
  • Oversee development and management of channel calendars and plans and work with cross-functional partners to support execution

Product Merchandising & Assortment Planning

  • Oversee management of channel assortments to maximize productivity and in-stocks while minimizing inventory liability; partner closely with Merchandise Planning to ensure inventory buys meet or exceed plan, and secure adequate inventory for promotions and sampling programs
  • Drive on-platform merchandising, key campaigns and ongoing category management for each channel, optimizing sales performance for respective channels while maintaining consistent brand vision and storytelling in line with global brand strategy
  • Own daily sales and daily order forecasting for channels, and partner back with Merchandise Planning to align on any discrepancies between daily channel forecasts and MP forecasts
  • Oversee content process for digital platforms, including creative briefs, providing feedback on creative assets, QA testing and assuring error-free content is loaded on time to deliver best in class p-page assets and site content that maximizes conversion while upholding global brand vision

 

Site Development & Operations

  • Own and continuously optimize the full online shopping journey, identifying opportunities through web metrics and competitor analysis
  • Partner with Product to resolve site bugs, devise development roadmap and prioritize site enhancements
  • Evaluate and make recommendations on new technologies to determine if they add value to the customer journey
  • Partner with warehouse operations and customer service teams to ensure on-time delivery of orders and on-brand client experience at every touchpoint

Reporting & Analysis

  • Provide weekly sales recaps, ad-hoc reporting and analysis as needed, with special focus on communicating plans to build on opportunities or minimize risks
  • Be in-tune with the beauty digital landscape, stay current on innovations in digital and ecommerce technology, and identify opportunities to further drive the business

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 7+ years of digital/ecommerce experience, with strong understanding of digital/ecommerce best practices
  • Must be an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to own and drive projects with limited direction and to make good judgement calls
  • Detail-oriented with strong time management skills; able to handle multiple priorities and work well with cross-functional partners
  • Thrives in an environment that is fast-paced, rapidly changing and customer-oriented
  • Experience with Asana, Google Analytics, Shopify, Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
