We provide enterprise customers patented cutting-edge AI-driven technology with a no-code solution and platform for building, releasing, monitoring, and managing Appdome-protected mobile applications. We are seeking a Deal Desk Sr. Manager/Director to partner closely with our Sales, Finance, and Legal teams and take our deal desk to the next level of effectiveness and efficiency. You will manage and handle our deal processes supporting growth and modeling continuous improvement.

This role is hybrid in the San Francisco Bay Area.

About the Role

As a Deal Desk Senior Manager/Director you will play a critical role at the intersection of Sales, Commercial, Legal, and Finance leading traditional deal desk responsibilities -- quote production, delivery, and management -- while also supporting cross-functional processes critical to deal closure and completion, scaling deal desk capabilities, and improving efficiency. This is a high visibility role with direct impact on revenue growth and an opportunity to shape and scale a mission-critical function

We are looking for an experienced leader and problem solver, well-versed in fast-paced SAAS sales who is not afraid to role up their sleeves to get things done. You will help take our deal desk function to the next level with the adoption and implemention of efficient, compliant, and scalable methods and tools.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments, enjoys building structure out of ambiguity, is detail-oriented, and brings exceptional organizational skills and a strong bias toward operational excellence, cross-functional partnership, and data-driven decision making. Reporting directly to the General Counsel, you will manage and scale a small team and work cross-functionally with Sales, Legal, Finance, and Revenue Operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all deal desk processes, overseeing the intake, preparation, and issuance of sales quotes and expansions, while also preparing/refining quotes and supporting the quoting process end-to-end.
  • Work with Legal and Finance to maintain and improve quote workflows, ensuring alignment with legal and commercial requirements.
  • Implement configurations and process changes related to pricing, discounting, contract terms, and approvals.
  • Drive efficient and effective quoting encouraging use of tools, processes, and best practices.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on CPQ quote automation software and CRM systems to support sales and commercial legal processes.
  • Partner with Legal to ensure standardization of contract terms relevant to the quoting and sales process.
  • Maintain and manage deal desk data tracking and reporting, including preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and other materials.
  • Provide regular trainings to sales and CS teams regarding quoting processes, requirements, and best practices.
Requirements
  • Bachelors Degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
  • 5 -10 years of relevant professional experience in increasingly senior deal desk and/or revenue roles related to sales.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced SaaS environment.
  • Demonstrated experience with CPQ software/platforms and use of automation.
  • Experience with CRM systems (HubSpot a plus).
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, Powerpoint, and Docusign.
  • Strong ability to work independently as well as in collaborative cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to navigate between sales, finance, and legal perspectives.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail, process thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working with distributed / global teams.
  • Demonstrated experience in a B2B SAAS deal desk manager or similar role.
  • Experience in SaaS or subscription-based businesses strongly preferred.
  • Financial acumen and knowledge of revenue recognition.
  • Ability to handle on complex SaaS or technology deals.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize activities.
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Organizational, follow-up, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Experience working directly with legal or contracts teams.
  • Knowledge of SaaS commercial terms and metrics.

Compensation



  • Base Salary Range: $ 150,000–$190,000 USD annually for San Francisco, CA applicants
  • Eligible for annual performance bonus
  • Eligible for equity
  • Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off, and other company-sponsored benefits
  • Final compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, qualifications, location, and internal equity
  • We do not provide any relocation assistance for this role

The base pay range for this role is posted above. Actual compensation as well as title, are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, and certifications, among others.

The total compensation package for this position may also include performance bonus, stock, benefits and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.
