Job Description:

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Senior Manager, ERP Technical Product Manager (TPM) to lead the Deliver product team within the Global Vision ERP product group and provide platform stewardship for the Global Surgical Vision ERP platform. In this role, you will help shape products and services that enable reliable, compliant, and efficient business operations. The position may be based in Raritan, New Jersey; Jacksonville, Florida; or Irvine, California.

You will set product direction, turn business priorities into an actionable roadmap, and guide work from discovery through deployment and value realization. You will collaborate with business, product, engineering, operations, quality, and supplier teams while supporting an environment where people share ideas, learn, and grow.

What You Will Do

Shape Product Strategy and Priorities

  • Define and communicate the vision, strategy, roadmap, objectives, and measurable outcomes for the Global Vision Deliver product and the Surgical Vision ERP platform.
  • Lead demand intake, discovery, prioritization, estimation, and portfolio planning with business product owners, engineering leaders, Release Train Engineers, and enterprise partners.
  • Balance customer value, regulatory needs, technical feasibility, platform risk, capacity, cost, and strategic alignment when setting priorities.
  • Maintain a clear backlog of product features, technical enablers, compliance work, lifecycle investments, and technical debt.
  • Facilitate roadmap, quarterly planning, portfolio governance, and partner review forums that support timely, transparent decisions.

Deliver Solutions and Measurable Value

  • Guide work from intake and solution definition through design, build, testing, deployment, hypercare, operational transition, and benefit realization.
  • Partner with product owners, engineers, architects, functional specialists, and suppliers to deliver solutions that are scalable, secure, supportable, compliant, and aligned with enterprise standards.
  • Establish practical standards for solution design, development, release management, testing, validation, master data, documentation, and deployment.
  • Coordinate delivery across SAP functional and technical teams, including SD/LE, FI, MM, planning, ABAP, Basis, security, integration, reporting, and connected applications.
  • Use delivery, quality, risk, dependency, capacity, and outcome measures to anticipate issues, support decisions, and improve results.

Strengthen Platform Reliability and Lifecycle Health

  • Serve as the technology owner for the Surgical Vision ERP platform and connected systems, coordinating platform decisions, risks, and operational priorities.
  • Maintain application and technology lifecycle plans, asset and configuration records, and CMDB accuracy across the platform ecosystem.
  • Advance roadmaps for upgrades, cloud migration, security remediation, technical debt reduction, observability, automation, archiving, environment strategy, and decommissioning.
  • Partner with application support, infrastructure, cybersecurity, quality, compliance, and supplier teams to strengthen reliability and operational stability.
  • Coordinate release calendars, downtime planning, change control, transport governance, cutover readiness, disaster recovery, and production deployments.
  • Ensure incidents, recurring defects, vulnerabilities, audit findings, and lifecycle risks have clear owners, practical remediation plans, and measurable closure.

Manage Investment, Capacity, and Partners

  • Develop estimates, delivery plans, resource models, and financial forecasts for product demand, projects, persistent capacity, and lifecycle investments.
  • Manage budget tracking, funding alignment, cost transparency, chargeback, and reconciliation for the Deliver portfolio and Surgical Vision platform.
  • Align internal and supplier capacity to prioritized demand and secure the functional, engineering, integration, security, and platform capabilities needed to meet commitments.
  • Evaluate cost, throughput, predictability, quality, reliability, customer outcomes, and realized value to improve the product operating model.
  • Provide concise portfolio, financial, delivery, and risk updates that help business and technology leaders make informed decisions.

Lead Through Partnership and Inclusion

  • Lead and develop a global, cross-functional team spanning business technology, product management, functional delivery, engineering, architecture, operations, and suppliers.
  • Build trusted relationships with business leaders and bring the right partners together to address portfolio decisions, dependencies, platform risks, and delivery challenges.
  • Connect Deliver, Make, Quality, Plan, Source, Finance, reporting, integration, cybersecurity, and enterprise platform teams to enable end-to-end outcomes.
  • Coach product owners and team members in product management, Agile delivery, governance, risk management, and continuous improvement.
  • Create an inclusive, customer-focused environment where team members contribute ideas, learn from one another, and share accountability for outcomes.

What Will Help You Succeed

Required Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree is required preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field of study.
  • 8 or more years of experience in ERP or supply chain technology, including hands-on leadership with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA.
  • Experience guiding full-lifecycle ERP implementations or major global deployments from design and build through testing, cutover, go-live, and hypercare.
  • Experience leading technology, product, or delivery teams in a global, matrixed environment and applying Agile product management or delivery practices.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP Order-to-Cash and Deliver capabilities, such as sales order management, pricing, delivery, billing, returns, logistics execution, output management, and customer-facing integrations.
  • Understanding of cross-functional ERP processes and integration points across Finance, Materials Management, Planning, Manufacturing, Quality, Tax, master data, and external supply chain systems.
  • Experience working with technical capabilities such as ABAP, Basis, security, integration or middleware, infrastructure, cloud, testing, and application support.
  • Experience with application and technology lifecycle management, change and release governance, configuration management, CMDB, cybersecurity, compliance, and platform reliability.
  • Experience managing budgets, estimates, resource capacity, suppliers, financial forecasts, and chargeback or cost-allocation processes.
  • Clear communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence decisions, navigate priorities, and present complex information to business and technology audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree is preferred.
  • SAP experience in S/4HANA, Sales and Distribution, Logistics Execution, or a related domain.
  • Experience in medical device, life sciences, pharmaceutical, or another regulated industry.
  • Knowledge of SOX, GxP, computer system validation, cybersecurity, audit, or quality-system requirements.
  • Experience with large-scale ERP transformation, SAP S/4HANA migration, cloud migration, technical debt reduction, automation, observability, or platform modernization.
  • Experience supporting global business processes and geographically distributed teams across regions and time zones.
  • Experience developing talent, coaching product teams, and helping build inclusive, high-performing organizations.
