Cohesity is seeking a Regional Director, Federal Sales to lead and scale a team of Senior Account Executives selling mission-critical data security, cyber resilience, and ransomware recovery solutions. This role owns execution of a complex commercial territory, drives consistent performance across teams, and develops future sales leaders.

HOW YOU'LL SPEND YOUR TIME HERE:

  • Lead, develop and manage Senior Account Executives selling Cohesity’s data security and cyber resilience solutions

  • Build and execute territory and coverage strategies to meet short- and long-term revenue and pipeline goals

  • Engage strategically with customers through executive meetings, deal reviews, and critical opportunities

  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales Engineering, Channel, Marketing, and Professional Services leaders

  • Ensure strong forecasting rigor, pipeline discipline, and inspection cadence across the district

  • Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing managers and sales talent

WE'D LOVE TO TALK TO YOU IF YOU HAVE MANY OF THE FOLLOWING:

  • Demonstrated experience leading multiple sales managers or senior sellers in a competitive enterprise technology environment

  • Strong understanding of enterprise security concepts including ransomware, cyber recovery, compliance, and risk mitigation

  • Proven track record driving multi-team quota attainment, forecast accuracy, and disciplined sales execution

  • Experience supporting complex, high-value enterprise deals with sophisticated stakeholders and security requirements

  • Ability to lead and influence extended, cross-functional resource teams

  • Trusted, high-integrity leader with strong communication skills

  • Willingness to travel as required by the role.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

  • Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and support decision making.

  • Must have English language proficiency (can interact with a degree of fluency when speaking, reading, and writing in a professional and specialized setting).

Disclosure Pursuant to Applicable State Equal Pay Transparency Laws - This position has a starting pay range as listed below. Actual salary depends upon many factors, including a candidate’s skills, qualifications and experience, location, and salary expectations, and therefore a starting salary at the low end, high end, or even above the stated range may be offered. This position may also be eligible for bonus compensation, commission (if in a sales function), and/or equity grants. Additionally, full-time employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive benefits framework, including health and wellness benefits, vacation, paid holidays and refresh days, 401(k) retirement plan, life and disability insurance coverages, and other benefits the Company may offer from time to time.

Pay Range :

$332,120.00-$415,150.00

The compensation noted above is based on an annualized hourly rate assuming normal full-time employment.

Current pay transparency shows the OTE (On-Target Earnings) for commission-based roles.

In-Office Expectations
Cohesity employees who are within a reasonable commute (e.g. within a forty-five (45) minute average travel time) work out of our core offices 2-3 days a week of their choosing.
