About the role

As Senior Manager, Global Partnerships within the Product group, you will be at the forefront of managing and nurturing strategic global relationships with key platforms and Connected TV partners. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the success and growth of these crucial partnerships, maximizing our platform and content reach and enhancing the overall user experience. This role demands a deep understanding of media dynamics, strong relationship management skills, and a keen eye for identifying and capitalizing on opportunities within the media and streaming ecosystem.

In the role of Senior Manager, Global Partnerships, you will report to the Senior Director, Global Partnerships. We are considering applicants for the location of Los Angeles, CA (in office Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays).

You will:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive global partner management strategy aligned with our company's objectives to foster strong and long-lasting partnerships.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned Connected TV and other platform partners, maintaining regular communication and addressing their needs, inquiries, and concerns promptly.
  • Be on top of Product innovation with assigned partners to identify growth opportunities, co-create strategies, and implement joint initiatives that drive mutual success and subscriber growth.
  • Monitor partner performance metrics to identify areas of improvement, develop action plans to optimize performance and present during Quarterly Business Reviews.
  • Establish strong relationships and drive stakeholder influence with other internal departments including Regional teams, Marketing, Brand Management, Analytics, Finance, Strategy, Product, Engineering, and Content Operations.
  • Liaise with Partner Management counterparts in regional offices to share best practices.
  • Travel to partner meetings and represent Crunchyroll in industry events.
About You

  • You have a 8+ years of successful partner/account management within the media and/or streaming industry.
  • You have an in-depth understanding of the media and streaming landscape, platform dynamics, and the competitive environment.
  • You have strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills to establish and maintain collaborative partnerships with key platform partners.
  • You have demonstrated experience in driving business growth and revenue through successful partner management initiatives.
  • You have excellent negotiation, presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively represent the company's interests.
  • You have expertise in gaining consensus and gathering support internally and externally.
  • You're able to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and effectively manage multiple priorities.
  • You're able to work independently and manage multiple stakeholders and partners across geographies and time zones.
  • You're passionate about media, anime, and fan culture and have a keen interest in keeping up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
About the Team

The Global Partnerships team leads the day-to-day responsibilities of global distribution outlets within the Product group. Partners include the likes of Google, Apple, Samsung, LG and many more in addition to payment integrators and interactive gaming partners. Focused on maximizing Crunchyroll’s presence across platforms and growing revenue and subscribers - while working closely with various internal stakeholders (ie Engineering, Marketing, etc). Composed of passionate experts who ultimately want to make it easier for fans to consume top notch anime content.

The Pay Range for this position is listed. Actual pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Crunchyroll’s Total Rewards offerings for employees. Other rewards may include performance bonuses, employer matched retirement savings, time-off programs, and progressive health benefits and perks.
