Position Summary

The Senior Manager, HR Business Partner, serves as a strategic and operational HR partner supporting Caris Life Sciences’ fast-paced, high-growth commercial organization. This role provides front-line HR partnership to sales leadership and key commercial stakeholders, aligning people strategies with business objectives to drive organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, and revenue growth. The Senior Manager balances strategic consultation with hands-on execution, ensuring effective delivery of HR programs, talent strategies, employee relations support, and change management initiatives across the sales organization.

Job Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted HR advisor to sales leaders, aligning HR strategies with commercial objectives and growth targets.

  • Provide front-line HR business partnering support, including employee relations, performance management, talent development, and organizational effectiveness.

  • Partner with leadership on workforce planning, organizational design, and talent acquisition strategies to support business growth and scalability.

  • Drive talent management processes, including performance reviews, succession planning, and leadership development initiatives.

  • Collaborate with Total Rewards and business leaders on sales compensation programs, incentive plans, and performance-based initiatives.

  • Support change management efforts related to organizational growth, restructuring, and transformation initiatives.

  • Analyze HR data and business metrics to identify trends, provide insights, and support informed decision-making.

  • Ensure consistent application of HR policies, practices, and compliance requirements.

  • Champion a high-performance, inclusive culture that aligns with Caris values and supports employee engagement and retention.

  • Partner cross-functionally with Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Learning & Development, and HR Operations to deliver integrated HR solutions.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience.

  • 5+ years of HR experience supporting sales, commercial, or revenue-generating organizations.

  • Demonstrated experience in employee relations, organizational design, performance management, and change management.

  • Strong business acumen with an understanding of sales organizations, performance metrics, and incentive-driven environments.

  • Proven ability to influence leaders and build effective partnerships across multiple levels of the organization.

  • Demonstrated ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

  • Excellent communication, consulting, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, Outlook, and general working knowledge of Internet for business use.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in healthcare, biotechnology, diagnostics, or life sciences industries.

  • Experience supporting geographically dispersed sales teams.

  • Professional HR certification such as SHRM-SCP, SHRM-CP, SPHR, or PHR.

  • Experience supporting organizational growth, mergers, acquisitions, or large-scale transformation initiatives.

Physical Demands

  • Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time.

  • Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment.

  • Occasional lifting of up to 15 pounds.

Training

  • All job specific, safety, and compliance training are assigned based on the job functions associated with this employee.

Other

  • This position requires periodic travel, including visits to field sales teams, leadership meetings, and corporate locations.

  • At times may require attendance outside of standard business hours to support business needs and geographically dispersed teams.
