We are looking for a Senior Manager who is passionate about building and modernizing Network Infrastructure.

As a Senior Manager at DigitalOcean, you will join a dynamic team dedicated to revolutionizing cloud computing. Reporting to the Director of Network Infrastructure Engineering, this role will lead and scale the Datacenter Networking team, responsible for building, modernizing, and operating DigitalOcean’s datacenter network infrastructure.

What You’ll Do:
  • Talent development and performance management; coaching, and developing a culture of inclusivity and collaboration 
  • Work with other technologies to architect next generation network
  • Partner with senior technical and business leadership to co-develop multi-year roadmaps for the technology areas across the organization 
  • Proactively identify and solve challenges that negatively impact team velocity and successful delivery
  • Work with the team to streamline and modernize tools used for network equipment lifecycle management
What You’ll Add to DigitalOcean:

  • Visionary - experience communicating effectively with peers and leaders, create allies and productive relationships, nurture collaboration and knowledge transfer, communicate with transparency, communicate clear organizational goals
  • Technologist - a proven background in some or all of: GPU networking, IEB implementation and design, DC networking, NOC, Life-cycle management of infrastructure
  • At least 10 years of progressive experience in network architecture, design and operation at global scale (10+ DC locations)
  • Experience working with deployment software like Salt, Ansible, puppet, chef.
  • 5+ years’ experience of people, talent and performance management; passion to mentor, motivate, and coach team member
Compensation Range: 
  • $184,800 - $231,000
