As leaders in providing streamlined, user-friendly solutions, we empower automotive brands to maximize online sales. Our commitment to technology, top-notch customer service, and a profound understanding of the automotive market sets us apart. If you're ready to revolutionize the eCommerce space for automotive parts and accessories, consider joining our dynamic team of Revolutionaries.
The Role:
As the Senior Manager, Operations & Internal Technology, this role owns the systems, tools, and operational infrastructure that let RevolutionParts run day-to-day, managing the technology stack Revolutionaries depend on (access, device and help desk support, AI tool provisioning and governance) along with the vendor relationships, business systems, and process infrastructure that keep those systems reliable, cost-efficient, and audit-ready. This role requires minimal oversight: work is initiated independently, methods and evaluation criteria are self-determined, and outcomes are communicated to leadership for visibility and approval.
Responsibilities
Internal Technology & Systems Administration
- Own end-to-end IT and systems administration (device provisioning, identity and access management, help desk support, and onboarding/offboarding technology processes), operating independently and delegating day-to-day ticket execution to direct reports, in order to keep every employee equipped with secure, working access from day one through offboarding and minimize company-wide technology downtime.
- Evaluate and govern AI tool access and provisioning company-wide, partnering with Enablement on rollout sequencing and training alignment, resulting in direct control over the speed and safety of AI adoption across the business.
- Partner with functional leaders to redesign workflows, role definitions, and team structures around AI-augmented productivity, resulting in leaner, higher-output teams structured to scale without proportional headcount growth.
- Act as subject-matter expert for the training and enablement programs that raise the AI fluency floor across the company, in order to close adoption gaps between teams and convert AI tool access into measurable productivity gains.
- Approach AI enablement as a company-wide change-management initiative rather than a one-time tools rollout, to drive sustained adoption and behavior change instead of short-lived usage spikes to increase productivity and business impacts cross-functionally.
- Serve as the internal point of contact for technology vendors and managed service providers on complex or high-risk technical issues, and independently recommend technology stack decisions (hardware, core business systems, integrations) in partnership with the VP, People on significant purchases, in order to minimize resolution time and control technology spend as the stack scales.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide career development guidance for direct reports, resulting in a technology team capable of supporting the company's next stage of growth.
Business Systems & Vendor Management
- Own the internal SaaS and business systems stack end to end (license and seat management, integrations, and platform administration for non-HRIS tools), in order to eliminate unused seats and license waste and directly reduce operating costs.
- Own vendor relationship management, contract renewals, and technology purchasing recommendations company-wide, negotiating terms and independently evaluating vendors against existing tools (final budget approval rests with leadership), resulting in lower technology spend and ensuring every technology dollar is tied to a clear, defensible business case.
- Build and maintain a company-wide technology spend and license inventory, flagging redundant or underutilized tools for consolidation, in order to give leadership an ongoing, transparent view of technology ROI.
Process & Operational Efficiency
- Identify, design, and implement process improvements and workflow automation, including AI-enabled tooling, for cross-functional operational needs not owned by another pillar, in order to measurably reduce manual hours and operational drag across teams.
- Partner with pillar leads company-wide to document and standardize operational processes, and produce data-driven analysis and recommendations on operational efficiency and systems-usage trends, resulting in reduced reliance on tribal knowledge and giving leadership an evidence-based view of where operational investment will return the most.
Security, Continuity & Audit Readiness
- Own device management, acceptable-use policy enforcement, and backup and business continuity protocols for internal, non-production systems, in order to reduce the company's exposure to data loss, device misuse, security incidents, and downtime.
- Maintain and apply company knowledge of data security and access-hygiene best practices, laying the technical groundwork for a future SOC 2 / ISO 27001 pursuit, resulting in protecting the company's ability to pass board, investor, or acquirer diligence.
- Advise leadership in real time on technology, vendor, and access-related risk, including ad hoc consultation outside standing meetings, in order to ensure leadership can make time-sensitive decisions with full visibility into technical and financial exposure.
Requirements
- 5 to 7 years of progressive IT, technical, or operations experience, including systems administration, vendor management, and business systems support.
- 2-3 years of experience in Salesforce administration and development experience, including declarative automation (Flow), report/dashboard building, and integration work.
- 1-3 years experience gathering business requirements from cross-functional stakeholders and translating them into technical solutions.
- Strong knowledge of identity and access management, device management (MDM) platforms, and core business SaaS administration (e.g., Google Workspace, Atlassian Suite, Rippling, Okta, Salesforce, or equivalent), with a track record of building technology and operational infrastructure from the ground up.
- Experience managing vendor relationships and negotiating SaaS/technology contracts, and the ability to think through complex, multi-layered situations involving technology risk, vendor cost, and operational impact simultaneously.
- Experience managing direct reports and developing team members, and partnering directly with leadership across multiple business units.
- Excellent judgment operating with minimal oversight on technically and financially sensitive matters.
- Working knowledge of data security fundamentals and audit-readiness frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001) a plus.
- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field, and relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA, ITIL, vendor-specific administration certifications), preferred but not required.
AI Fluency & Modern Tooling
At RevolutionParts, we expect team members to actively use modern tools — including AI-powered systems — to improve decision-making, productivity, and quality of work.
This includes:
- Using AI tools responsibly to accelerate research, analysis, documentation, and problem-solving
- Exercising strong judgment around data privacy, accuracy, and ethical use
- Continuously learning and adapting as AI capabilities evolve
Proven examples of using AI to improve outcomes in prior roles is expected.
