We are looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Manager, Revenue to join our Finance team. Reporting to the Senior Director of Revenue, this role serves as the go-to resource for the sales organization on deal desk matters and oversees the monthly revenue accounting close process, ensuring compliance with ASC 606 and applying AI automation to the Order to Cash process. The ideal candidate combines strong technical revenue accounting knowledge with sharp analytical and problem-solving skills and thrives in a fast-paced dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a point of contact for the sales organization on revenue recognition and pricing requirements.
  • Act as a member of the deal desk team, ensuring timely and accurate deal structuring, contract review, and approvals.
  • Maintain deep expertise on revenue recognition principles (ASC 606 - Revenue from Contracts with Customers.).
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales Operations, Strategy, Legal, Finance, and other teams that influence deal structure, acting as a sales advocate while ensuring transaction details are well understood.
  • Uphold the highest standard of compliance with U.S. GAAP, particularly ASC 606.
  • Oversee the monthly revenue accounting close process, including billing and collection efforts.
  • Review quarterly revenue disclosures in C3 AI's financial statements.
  • Identify and champion opportunities to apply AI and automation across the Order to Cash process — including deal structuring, contract review, and revenue close activities — to improve accuracy, speed, and scalability.
  • Manage and mentor a team of revenue operations professionals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA preferred.
  • Minimum of 4 - 6 years of experience in revenue operations, deal desk management, or related roles.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex deals and driving revenue growth.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future company sponsorship.

California Base Pay Range
$170,000$215,000 USD
