Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Manager, Salesforce Revenue Cloud to own and advance our Quote-to-Cash (Q2C) business processes and to lead the team that runs them, during a pivotal period of transformation. This role sits at the center of our migration off Salesforce CPQ (SBQQ) onto Salesforce Revenue Cloud, spanning Revenue Cloud Advanced (RCA) for quoting and orders through Revenue Cloud Billing (RCB) for invoicing. While delivery of the migration is partner-supported, this role is the long-term owner and internal authority for the Q2I platform: the leader who carries it forward, and builds the team to sustain it, once partners roll off.

This is a people-management role first and foremost. The ideal candidate has already led a team — hiring, developing, and holding people accountable — and pairs that management track record with deep, hands-on Salesforce subject-matter expertise across the Quote-to-Invoice lifecycle: product and pricing modeling, quoting, approvals, order management, and invoicing. This person leads the team day to day — setting technical direction, owning priorities and delivery, and managing performance — while staying hands-on enough to be its true subject-matter authority. It is a working-manager role for someone who thrives on both building a team and untangling legacy CPQ logic to design the future state.

Because Revenue Cloud Advanced is a new and rapidly evolving product, we do not expect every candidate to arrive with deep RCA experience. We are looking for a proven Quote-to-Cash / CPQ leader with the depth and learning velocity to become our RCA authority — direct RCA experience is a strong plus, not a gate.

What You'll Do:

  • Own the Quote-to-Invoice platform end to end across Salesforce Revenue Cloud Advanced (quoting, pricing, orders) and Revenue Cloud Billing (invoicing), as the long-term internal authority and business owner.

  • Directly manage the team responsible for the Q2I platform — hire, onboard, develop, and retain administrators and analysts; set goals and priorities; run 1:1s, coaching, and performance management; and build the internal capability to own Revenue Cloud after partner roll-off.

  • Set technical standards and direction for the team, review and unblock the team's work, and grow the bench so the platform is never dependent on a single person.

  • Serve as internal owner and senior technical counterpart to the implementation partner throughout the SBQQ-to-Revenue Cloud migration — directing configuration decisions, validating partner deliverables, and ensuring the future-state design is one this team can own and maintain independently.

  • Analyze existing CPQ configuration (price rules, product rules, bundles, discount schedules, approval logic), map it to Revenue Cloud constructs, and drive parallel-run validation and cutover.

  • Model products, pricing, bundles, and quoting logic in Revenue Cloud Advanced, including Product Configurator, Pricing Procedures, and the quote/order/invoice lifecycle — remaining hands-on as the depth of the role requires.

  • Configure and maintain invoicing in RCB, including billing schedules, invoice generation, and the order-to-invoice handoff.

  • Design and maintain automation (Flow, and coordination with developers on Apex where needed) that improves the speed, accuracy, and controls of the Q2I process.

  • Configure and govern approval processes, discounting guardrails, and Deal Desk workflows.

  • Manage complex user access with an emphasis on least-privilege design — profiles, permission sets, permission set groups, and roles aligned to revenue and finance separation-of-duties requirements.

  • Proactively identify and remediate data quality issues across quotes, orders, products, price books, and invoices; oversee data loads, migrations, and deduplication using Data Loader and comparable tooling.

  • Maintain data accuracy and integrity across the Q2I footprint and at its boundaries with adjacent systems.

  • Own release management for Q2I: sandbox strategy, testing, deployment, and change control across both the migration and steady-state enhancements.

  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders across Sales, Deal Desk, RevOps, and Finance — translating ambiguous business and finance requirements into scalable, well-architected solutions and driving change management and adoption.

  • Produce and maintain authoritative documentation for Revenue Cloud configuration, quoting and invoicing logic, migration mapping, and administrative runbooks.

  • Serve as the top escalation point for complex Q2I user and data issues.

  • Stay current with the Salesforce Revenue Cloud roadmap and recommend features that advance the Q2I platform.

# Scope Note

This role owns the Quote-to-Invoice platform within Salesforce (RCA through RCB invoicing). Downstream systems — including NetSuite, Tesorio, and Zuora RevPro — are adjacent to this platform and consume its outputs, but are not the responsibility of this role. This role is expected to understand and design clean handoffs to these systems without owning their configuration or operation.

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field; or equivalent experience.

  • 3+ years of direct people-management experience, with a proven track record of hiring, developing, and managing the performance of a team of administrators, analysts, or engineers.

  • 8+ years of Salesforce administration experience, with substantial time owning Q2C/Q2I or CPQ processes.

  • Deep hands-on expertise with Salesforce CPQ (SBQQ) — configuration, pricing rules, product rules, bundle design.

  • Strong command of the end-to-end Quote-to-Invoice / Quote-to-Cash lifecycle, including product configuration, pricing, approvals, order management, and billing/invoicing concepts.

  • Demonstrated ownership of a revenue platform through a major migration or transformation, including work alongside an implementation partner.

  • Proven ability to translate complex commercial and finance requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions, and to drive change management and adoption across stakeholders.

  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, analytical, and documentation skills, with the ability to operate independently, set technical direction, and manage delivery.

  • Experience with data management and migration tooling (Data Loader or similar).

We'd Love to See:

  • Direct experience with Salesforce Revenue Cloud / Revenue Cloud Advanced and Revenue Cloud Billing (RCB). Given how new RCA is, comparable modern Q2C/billing platform experience plus demonstrated learning velocity is welcome in lieu of deep RCA tenure.

  • Direct experience migrating from Salesforce CPQ (SBQQ) to Revenue Cloud Advanced and RCB.

  • Salesforce Revenue Cloud, CPQ Specialist, or Advanced Administrator credentials.

  • Experience as the internal owner who assumed long-term responsibility for a platform after a partner-led implementation.

  • Experience specifically building and leading a Salesforce admin/analyst team from the ground up, and managing through an implementation partner engagement.

  • Advanced automation experience with Flow, and comfort partnering with developers on Apex-based extensions.

  • Experience with Salesforce release management / DevOps tooling (Prodly, Gearset, Copado, or similar).

  • AI/Agentforce experience — hands-on deploying, governing, testing, or improving Salesforce AI/Agentforce use cases within the revenue lifecycle.

  • Familiarity with clean integration/handoff patterns to downstream revenue and finance systems (e.g., NetSuite, Tesorio, Zuora RevPro).

  • Experience with integration tooling (MuleSoft, Boomi, APIs).
