NVIDIA is looking for an experienced senior manager to lead a team of PCBA factory Supplier Quality Engineers (SQE) in the North America region. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest quality of our complex AI systems. Your primary responsibility will be to represent all aspects of NVIDIA's AI hardware quality interests and to lead a high performing team of Quality engineers. You'll work with teams such as hardware engineering, product engineering, product quality engineering, supplier and commodity management to raise the supplier's quality bar and to drive continuous improvements. What you will be doing:

  • Manage a team of experienced quality engineers to bring up and manage NVIDIAs manufacturing sites.

  • Collaborate closely with manufacturing partners to ensure compliance with NVIDIA's unique Quality standards. 

  • Manage manufacturing partners Quality performance through audits, Quality critical metric management, QBR/QQRs.

  • Lead complex quality excursion management, and new site/supplier qualification.

  • Cooperate with internal teams, including process, assembly, test, reliability, customer quality as main factory quality interface.

  • Develop quality management strategy and identify risks in early product phase.

  • Drive global Quality process harmonization and cross-function/cross-site initiatives.

What we need to see:

  • MS degree in mechanical, electrical, industrial engineering or a related engineering degree, or equivalent experience.

  • 12+ overall years of quality engineering experience of which 5+ years as a people manager

  • Extensive experience in large volume PCBA, tray and rack manufacturing for datacenter/server/networking/liquid cooled AI products (L6-L11) either as an OEM or as a CSP.

  • Practical experience in the effective use of Quality core tools (eg 8D, 5-Why, 6S, FMEA, SPC, MSA, Six Sigma/Lean, MRB, QBR).

  • Exemplary communication and proven problem solving skills, including data analytics, logical and statistical analysis, and oral presentation.

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 208,000 USD - 327,750 USD.

You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
