The Senior Microsoft Engineer will design, deploy, and implement Microsoft infrastructure solutions, lead projects, troubleshoot advanced issues, and consult on Microsoft platforms while ensuring project success in a remote setting.

ITTConnect is seeking a Senior Microsoft Engineer to work remotely from anywhere in Brazil for a client in the US.

As a Senior Microsoft Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, deployment, and implementation of Microsoft-based infrastructure solutions across customer environments. You will lead and execute complex Microsoft technology projects, perform advanced troubleshooting, and provide expert-level consulting and support focused on Microsoft platforms.
This position requires a consultative, customer-facing engineer who can translate business requirements into scalable Microsoft solutions, execute deployments with precision, and ensure successful project outcomes. You will work closely with project managers, solution architects, and customer stakeholders, while maintaining the ability to work independently in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
Requirements
- 10+ years of IT experience.
- MUST BE fluent in English.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in a professional services, MSP, VAR, systems integrator, or enterprise IT environment.
- Extensive hands-on experience deploying, supporting, and troubleshooting Microsoft Windows Server environments.
- Deep expertise with Microsoft Active Directory, including domain architecture, domain controllers, FSMO roles, DNS integration, Group Policy, replication, trusts, and authentication services.
- Strong experience planning, executing, and supporting on-premises, hybrid, and cloud migrations with a primary focus on Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Entra ID/Azure AD).
- Experience designing and implementing Microsoft-based infrastructure solutions, with an emphasis on availability, scalability, and security.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Hyper-V and Windows-based virtualization supporting business-critical workloads
Preferred
- Experience supporting Hyper-V–based or Microsoft-aligned hyper-converged infrastructure solutions.
- Experience with Microsoft-focused backup and recovery solutions, including Veeam or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with Microsoft security and identity technologies, including Entra ID (Azure AD), conditional access, MFA, and role-based access control.
- Experience producing and maintaining technical documentation such as architectural diagrams, implementation guides, and audit reports.
- Familiarity with environments subject to regulatory or compliance requirements such as PCI, HIPAA, SOC 2, or similar frameworks.
- Experience with Intune, MECM/SCCM, or related endpoint management tools.
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code and automation in Microsoft environments (e.g., PowerShell DSC, ARM templates, Terraform).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
