At Commure, we're building the AI Operating System for healthcare, the foundation that defines how care is delivered, documented, and financed. Our platform spans the full care journey: Ambient AI and Dictation eliminating documentation burden at the point of care, intelligent Agents automating patient and revenue workflows, and autonomous RCM processing billions in claims, all on a single AI-native platform integrated with 60+ EHRs.

Healthcare carries a $1 trillion administrative burden and we're at the center of transforming it. Today, 500,000+ clinicians across 500+ healthcare organizations nationwide trust Commure to handle $25B+ in annual claims and support over 200 million patient interactions. Our latest $70M raise at a $7B valuation reflects the confidence the market has placed in this mission. We've also been named to the Fortune Future 50 list and the 2026 AI Breakthrough Awards for “Overall NLP Company of the Year.”

Our team works directly alongside clinicians, not through layers of process, which means the gap between what you build and its impact on patient care is immediate. We move fast, deploy daily, and take full ownership from early thinking to production. If you're energized by hard problems, high stakes, and a team that holds itself to a high bar, you'll find your people here.

The future of healthcare is being built right now. Come deliver this transformation.

About the Role

We’re building a next-generation ambient AI platform for healthcare, helping clinicians focus on patient care by automatically capturing, understanding, and structuring clinical conversations in real time.

Mobile is at the center of this experience. Our apps support clinicians throughout their workflows, from capturing long-form conversations and reviewing AI-generated documentation to completing follow-up actions and coordinating care.

We’re hiring a Mobile Product Engineer to help shape and build these experiences. You’ll own meaningful product areas from idea to launch, working closely with product, design, AI, and backend teams to turn emerging technology into intuitive, dependable mobile workflows.

This role is for an engineer who thinks deeply about the people using the product, not only whether a feature works, but whether it feels fast, clear, trustworthy, and natural in a clinical environment. You’ll spend most of your time building product experiences and owning the end to end delivery of these novel AI first workflows. Your work may also involve native mobile infrastructure challenges, and solving them to allow the product to scale.

Our mobile application is primarily built in Flutter, with native Swift/iOS and Kotlin/Android integrations where platform-specific capabilities are required. Flutter experience is helpful but not required. We value strong mobile product judgment, native platform depth, and the ability to learn across the stack.

What You’ll Do

  • Build and own high-impact mobile experiences for clinicians, from early product exploration through launch, measurement, and iteration.

  • Develop new interaction patterns for AI-native healthcare software, including:

    • Real-time transcription and ambient documentation

    • AI-assisted review, editing, and clinical workflows

    • Multimodal inputs and intelligent recommendations

    • Agentic actions that help clinicians complete work

    • Offline and low-connectivity care experiences

  • Work closely with clinicians, product managers, and designers to understand real-world workflows and translate them into simple, thoughtful mobile experiences.

  • Partner with AI and backend engineers to bring model capabilities into production in ways that are responsive, understandable, and trustworthy.

  • Contribute across our Flutter application and its native Swift/iOS and Kotlin/Android integrations.

  • Own the quality of what you ship, including performance, accessibility, reliability, analytics, testing, observability, and release readiness.

  • Prototype quickly, learn from real usage, and refine experiences based on qualitative and quantitative feedback.

  • Help shape mobile product and technical strategy as the Ambient AI product line grows.

  • Mentor other engineers and raise the bar for mobile engineering, product thinking, and craft across the team.

  • Occasionally contribute to adjacent surfaces such as our web application or Chrome extension when a workflow spans platforms.

What You Have

  • 4+ years of professional mobile development experience, with meaningful ownership of user-facing products or features.

  • Deep experience in iOS, Android, or cross-platform mobile development.

  • Strong native expertise in Swift/iOS and/or Kotlin/Android, including platform conventions, app lifecycle, permissions, background execution, and performance.

  • Experience working in or a willingness to ramp onto a Flutter-based codebase.

  • A track record of taking mobile experiences from ambiguous ideas to polished, production-ready products.

  • Strong product judgment and attention to interaction details, usability, performance, and overall craft.

  • An understanding that reliability is part of the user experience, particularly for workflows involving recording, connectivity, background execution, or sensitive data.

  • Experience collaborating closely with product, design, backend, data, or AI teams.

  • Comfort moving between product features and the underlying mobile systems required to support them.

  • An ownership mindset and bias for action. You identify important problems, create clarity, and drive work through completion.

Nice to Haves

  • Experience building AI-native, conversational, or real-time product experiences.

  • Experience with audio or video capture, streaming, transcription, or background recording.

  • Experience with offline-first applications, sync engines, resilient local persistence, or conflict handling.

  • Flutter and Dart experience, including Riverpod or similar state-management patterns.

  • Experience designing or contributing to mobile design systems and reusable component libraries.

  • Familiarity with mobile experimentation, product analytics, and measuring feature adoption or usability.

  • Experience improving startup time, responsiveness, memory usage, battery consumption, or crash rates.

  • Experience with mobile observability, CI/CD, testing, release automation, or App Store and Play Store workflows.

  • Exposure to healthcare, HIPAA, SOC 2, privacy, security, or other regulated environments.

  • Light JavaScript, TypeScript, Chrome extension, or web application experience.

Why Join

  • Build a product that directly gives clinicians more time to focus on their patients.

  • Create new mobile interaction patterns at the intersection of AI, healthcare, and real-world clinical workflows.

  • Work across the full product lifecycle, from understanding user problems to shipping and improving the experience.

  • Solve distinctive mobile challenges involving real-time audio, offline behavior, multimodal AI, and agentic workflows.

  • Have meaningful influence over mobile product direction, technical architecture, and engineering culture.

  • Join at a stage where individual engineers can shape both what we build and how we build it.

  • Grow into broader mobile product or technical leadership as the team and product expand.
