Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst with deep expertise in Oracle Cloud Fusion Finance to support our finance transformation initiatives. The successful candidate will serve as a key liaison between Finance stakeholders and IT, ensuring that Oracle Cloud solutions align with business
goals. This role will be responsible for gathering and analyzing requirements, supporting design and testing activities, and ensuring successful implementation and ongoing optimization of Oracle Fusion Finance modules.
What You'll Do
Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, and IT teams to gather and document business requirements related to Oracle Cloud Fusion Financial modules (e.g., GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, and Tax).
Analyze existing financial processes and identify improvement opportunities through Oracle Fusion capabilities.
Translate business needs into functional specifications and configurations for Oracle Cloud Fusion Finance.
Lead or support configuration, testing (SIT/UAT), deployment, and post-implementation support.
Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for Oracle Fusion Finance functionality and business processes.
Partner with integration and data teams to ensure seamless connections between Oracle and upstream/downstream systems.
Prepare training documentation and support end-user training.
Troubleshoot issues, manage defect resolution, and support month-end/quarter-end close activities as needed.
Stay current on Oracle Cloud updates/releases and assess their impact on business operations.
Who you are
•Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field; MBA or
•CPA preferred.
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst with a focus on Finance applications.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Fusion Finance modules.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and finance operations.
