With a vision to "Build and sell intelligent cloud and intelligent edge solutions with partners, empowering people and organizations to achieve more," Global Channel Partner Sales (GCPS) is responsible for driving revenue outcomes with partners through innovative solutions–at scale! The Global Partner GTM, Programs, & Operations (GPO) organization within GPS brings together the go-to-market strategy, programs, and platforms to accelerate growth and improve partner experience across all partner segments.

As a Partner Marketing Manager, you will lead the global marketing strategy, community engagement, and event activation for Managed Service Provider (MSP) partners. You will build a scalable MSP partner engagement model, connect community insights to actionable go-to-market motions, and translate Microsoft priorities across AI, Copilot, security, cloud, marketplace, and SMB/CSP into partner-ready narratives, programming, and activation guidance. Working across global and regional stakeholders, you will create high-quality community and event experiences that accelerate partner readiness, advocacy, demand generation, customer acquisition, and growth with Microsoft.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the global MSP partner marketing, community, and event strategy, defining priority audiences, messaging pillars, engagement moments, operating rhythm, and measurable outcomes.
  • Build and lead a scalable MSP engagement model across events, webinars, roundtables, digital communities, newsletters, and partner listening forums.
  • Translate Microsoft priorities into compelling partner-ready narratives, event content, community programming, activation guidance, and reusable toolkits.
  • Partner across regional GTM teams, PDMs, partner sales, SMB/CSP stakeholders, and content, events, communications, skilling, and operations teams to align priority MSP cohorts and deliver integrated activation.
  • Measure community and event impact against SME&C business outcomes, using partner insights and performance data to strengthen partner activation, customer acquisition, pipeline and revenue influence, and AI, security, cloud, and marketplace adoption.

Qualifications
Required/minimum qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Business Development, Business Management, Communications, or related field AND 5+ years sales, marketing, or business development experience
    • OR equivalent experience.
Additional or preferred qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Business Administration, or related field AND 4+ years sales, marketing, technology-based, or business development experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Business Development, Business Management, Communications, or related field AND 6+ years sales, marketing, or business development experience
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • Experience in partner marketing, channel marketing, community engagement, event marketing, digital marketing, communications, product marketing, or a related marketing program role.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop marketing strategies and execute cross-functional programs with clear timelines, deliverables, stakeholder alignment, and measurable outcomes.
  • Experience designing and delivering partner or customer events, community programs, webinars, roundtables, or integrated engagement motions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate complex business priorities into clear partner-ready messaging, content, and event narratives.
  • Experience working with partner, sales, field, community, or ecosystem stakeholders to gather input, align priorities, and drive execution in a highly matrixed environment.
  • Analytical and operational discipline to track engagement, synthesize feedback, manage integrated calendars and deliverables, and improve programs based on data and partner insights.
  • Experience with MSP, CSP, SMB, marketplace, managed services, security, Copilot, AI, or Microsoft partner ecosystem motions is preferred.
  • Ability to build scalable global engagement models that balance global consistency, regional relevance, and partner-segment specificity.
  • Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills, with comfort operating across senior leaders, regional and field teams, and partner-facing groups; able to create structure and durable mechanisms in an evolving or ambiguous motion.

 

Occasional international/domestic travel required to support partner engagement.

 


Partner Marketing IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,400 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $137,600 - $222,600 per year.
