  • Ensure smooth integration with ancillary systems, including UKG Workforce Management, Workday, and NetSuite ERP

  • Document and enforce internal controls in compliance with SOX procedures; support quarterly and annual external audit requests

  • Manage internal and external payroll audits and relationships with external payroll providers

  • Develop and maintain payroll policies, calendars, checklists, process maps, and procedural documentation

  • Drive special projects including system implementations, upgrades, integrations, and process improvements

  • Mentor, develop, hire, and train staff; develop and report on key payroll metrics

  • Respond to employee payroll inquiries with urgency, empathy, and accuracy

  • Support management on ad hoc, scalability, and acquisition-related projects

  • 7+ years of experience leading US payroll operations at a public, multinational high-tech company

  • Hands-on experience with UKG (UltiPro/UKG Pro) and Workday Payroll — both platforms required

  • CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification preferred

  • Strong working knowledge of multi-state and federal payroll, tax, and wage and hour laws

  • Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and team management skills

  • Strong analytical skills including flux analysis on P&L and Balance Sheet
