Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Power Engineer to design and develop high-efficiency power delivery solutions for advanced networking and AI infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in DC-DC power conversion, power distribution networks, and high-power system design, with experience supporting demanding applications such as AI accelerators, high-performance networking, or data center platforms.

This role involves working on cutting-edge power delivery architectures that support extremely high current, low-voltage ASICs and next-generation networking systems, ensuring optimal efficiency, reliability, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop high-efficiency DC-DC power conversion systems, including circuit analysis, simulation, control loop design, and stabilization.
  • Architect and implement board-level power conversion solutions, balancing performance, cost, reliability, and availability requirements.
  • Develop advanced power supply solutions to support high-power AI workloads and next-generation networking platforms.
  • Design and optimize multi-phase power delivery solutions for low-voltage, high-current applications.
  • Create power conversion architectures that translate 48V rack power (OCP-style infrastructure) into the lower voltages required by high-power ASICs.
  • Perform PCB power integrity analysis, including IR drop and power loss analysis, and optimize power distribution networks using simulation tools.
  • Support power delivery design for large BGA packages, ensuring proper current distribution and thermal performance.
  • Lead testing, validation, and debugging power supply designs to ensure performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across ASIC, Mechanical, Thermal systems, and infrastructure engineering to deliver robust power solutions.
  • Evaluate and adopt emerging power technologies relevant to AI hardware and data center infrastructure.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of industry experience in electrical engineering or power electronics.
  • 5+ years of hands-on power supply design experience.
  • Strong knowledge of high-efficiency DC-DC conversion architectures.
  • Experience with power electronics simulation tools (e.g., SPICE or equivalent).
  • Deep understanding of control loop design and stability analysis.
  • Expertise in multi-phase power design for high current loads specifically for vertical power delivery applications.
  • Experience designing power delivery systems for high-power ASICs or large BGA devices.
  • Knowledge of PCB power integrity, IR drop analysis, and PDN optimization.
  • Familiarity with AI hardware platforms, data center infrastructure, or HPC systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with 48V rack power architectures (OCP or similar).
  • Experience designing power solutions for AI accelerators, GPUs, or high-performance ASICs.
  • Knowledge of thermal considerations and system-level power management.
  • Experience supporting hardware bring-up and manufacturing validation.
