Job Description
  • Channel Price Exceptions (PE Process). Coordinate the process to approve Price Exceptions requested by the channel team, including but not limited to:
  • Coordinate meetings with all Territory leaders to define and discuss the PEs for the quarter
  • Calculate gross margin (GM) for equipment lists.
  • Analyze email requests from sales, and based on historic prices, GM, cost, product positioning in the market, provide a response before a formal PE is submitted  -  negotiate with sales in order to avoid margin erosion.
  • Analyze and approve PEs, being able to simulate scenarios, use gross margin and historic data on quantities and prices to make a decision.
  • Keep track of all prices approved in the past on the country / distributor level, and use that information for future approvals.
  • Deal with pressure from sales to reduce prices and avoid margin erosion, being able to negotiate with the sales team better prices.
  • Liaise and work closely with Channel Product Operations Team in managing NPI products.
  • Prepare P&L in support of Sales Requests for special Bids / Tenders by the regional Channel Sales Teams, and by Customer Service Managers.
  • Proactively identify areas to improve Motorola’s financial metrics such as identifying product cost savings options, identifying upsell product offerings, and managing overall product mix. 
  • Manage End-of-Life Products through an efficient Product Obsolescence strategy.
  • Manage and update product pricing set-up in Motorola CRM systems.
  • Willing to take an active role in supporting the Pricing function in any CRM projects.

Basic Requirements
  • Candidate must have at least a Bachelor's Degree  -  Desirable Finance or Engineering Degree.

  • 3-5 years experience minimum in finance, accounting or engineering

  • Experience in Pricing, Bid & Quote processes.

  • Advanced English both written and spoken.

  • Willing to be working from home.
