Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the technical design and architecture of complex Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, CPQ/Revenue Cloud and Experience Cloud.

  • Set and enforce coding standards, design patterns (trigger frameworks, separation of concerns), code review practices and security best practices.
  • Work with architects, product owners and business stakeholders to turn requirements into technical designs and estimates.
  • Mentor and grow a team of senior and mid-level developers through reviews, pairing and knowledge-sharing sessions.
  • Assess new Salesforce releases and features and recommend how to adopt them.
  • Reduce technical debt, and lead org health reviews, refactoring and platform optimization.
  • Analyze business and technical requirements, providing actionable feedback on specifications, design, and integration flows.
  • Actively engage in Agile ceremonies and support cross-functional collaboration to drive efficient project delivery.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Expert knowledge of Apex, Lightning Web Components, Aura, Visualforce, SOQL/SOSL and asynchronous Apex.
  • Experience with Flow automation at scale, including knowing when to use Flow and when to use Apex.
  • Deep experience with the Salesforce data model, the sharing and security model.
  • Proven integration experience: REST/SOAP APIs, Named Credentials, OAuth, Platform Events, Streaming API and Bulk API.
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
  • Track record of delivering enterprise-scale Salesforce programs in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.

Soft Skills & Collaboration:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage cross-functional stakeholders and end users.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Strong analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • A mentoring mindset, with a commitment to growing developers and building a strong engineering culture.
  • Ownership and accountability for delivery quality, production stability and stakeholder commitments.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s, degree in computer science, Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 12–16 years of software development experience, with at least 8+ years building on the Salesforce platform.
  • Experience with Sales, Service, Marketing, Experience, and/or CPQ Clouds.
  • Demonstrated ability to stay current with Salesforce platform updates and innovations.
  • Active involvement in the Salesforce community is a plus.
