Northrop Grumman is seeking a Senior Principal Program Cost Schedule Control Analyst for its Corporate Office. This role will be responsible for leading all phases of multiple internal corporate level projects from inception through completion.  You will be responsible for operating in a team environment with multiple business management functions at the corporate office and collaborating with CIDO.  This role will also be a key contributor to Northrop Grumman’s digital transformation efforts.

This position will be located in Falls Church, VA, with possible teleworking options.  This position will report to the Corporate Director of Business Management.

Position Summary / Responsibilities

  • Provide project management and schedule development of various internal projects to ensure successful completion of tasks, milestones and final delivery or completion of projects.
  • Support project plan development to ensure projects meet the overall objectives and deliver on business value.
  • Lead and direct cross-functional teams, stakeholders, development teams and end users (as pertains to applications), ensuring tasks and actions are completed on time.
  • Monitor, measure and report on project performance and resource availability.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to stakeholders and executive leadership, communicating status, risks and recommendations.
  • Review and refine tasking to maintain efficient project workflows, proactively resolve issues, and drive timely project progression.
  • Contribute to projects by providing business management insight and support.

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, including direct interaction with senior leadership.
  • Ability to work independently and make independent decisions, ensuring high levels of collaboration with stakeholders and subject matter experts in a team environment.
  • Proactive approach to identifying issues, performing root-cause analysis, and clearly communicating potential impediments to initiatives

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree is required, plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in business management or an MS Degree and 6 years of experience in business management.
  • Experience leading the development of a schedule and achieving key requirements.
  • Proficient computer skills with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and integrated master schedules (MS Project) and TRIO.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams to achieve a single objective.
  • Experience and knowledge in finance, financial applications and tool development.
  • Experience and knowledge in SAP S4.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exceptional people skills and ability to influence decision making at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent strategic thinking demonstrated consultative skills working in a dynamic and matrix environment.

Primary Level Salary Range: $106,800.00 - $160,200.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
