About the Role:

The Senior Product Analyst is Instrumentl’s first dedicated analytics hire. You will build the foundation for how we measure product-led growth and understand ROI across the business. This role sits on the FinOps team and partners directly with the Acquisition and Activation squads. You will own how we track, instrument, and learn from experiments across the customer journey. You’ll work closely with Growth, Product, Engineering, and the Data Platform teams to make sure experiments are rigorous, data pipelines are accurate, and insights lead to meaningful ARR and efficiency gains.

What You'll Do

  • Build the core analytics practices, tools, and standards that will scale with the company.
  • Serve as the embedded data partner for Acquisition and Activation, owning measurement, experimentation, and funnel analysis.
  • Design and analyze experiments, then communicate results in clear, actionable summaries for Product, Growth, and Finance.
  • Define key product and growth metrics and build dashboards that connect performance to ARR, activation, and ROI.
  • Partner with Data Platform and Engineering to ensure tracking accuracy and strong data pipelines across Heap, BigQuery, and Omni.
  • Conduct deep-dive analysis on user behavior and conversion trends to identify growth opportunities and quantify revenue and efficiency impact.
  • Contribute to company-wide experimentation frameworks, documentation, and decision-making processes.

What We're Looking For

  • 5–8 years of experience in product, growth, or analytics at a SaaS or PLG company.
  • Comfortable operating independently, prioritizing work, and building structure where none exists.
  • Expert in SQL and fluent in BI tools such as Omni, Looker, or Mode.
  • Experienced in A/B testing design, statistical analysis, and experiment interpretation.
  • Skilled with event-based tools such as Heap, Amplitude, or Mixpanel, and able to validate tracking end to end.
  • Working knowledge of Python or R for advanced analysis.
  • Proven ability to connect insights to financial outcomes (activation, conversion, retention) and influence Product and Growth roadmaps.
  • Prior collaboration with FinOps or RevOps teams linking product metrics to business performance.
  • Strong communicator who can translate complex analyses into concise, actionable narratives for technical and non-technical audiences.

Nice To Have

  • Experience building or scaling a company-wide experimentation program.
  • Exposure to financial or operational analytics such as CAC payback, ROI attribution, or funnel contribution modeling.
  • Familiarity with modern data stack tools like dbt, Fivetran, or Airflow.

Success Looks Like

  • Instrumentl has a clear, consistent approach to experimentation and analytics because of this person’s work.
  • Growth experiments are measured and communicated with rigor and clarity.
  • Funnel insights drive measurable improvements in ARR, activation, and retention.
  • Stakeholders trust the data, understand the insights, and act on them quickly.
  • Leadership has a clear view of growth drivers and ROI across product initiatives.

Why You'll Love Working Here

  • Join a mission-driven, product-led team that values curiosity, collaboration, and clear outcomes
  • Work closely with leaders who believe in bold ideas, fast learning, and empowering people to do their best work
  • Play a direct role in shaping the team and culture that will take Instrumentl to its next stage of growth
