The Opportunity
As the Senior Product Engineering Manager for Omnichannel & Paid Media, you will be the architect of a unified digital future for US Commercial Pharma. You aren't just managing platforms; you are building the intelligent connective tissue that transforms the experience we provide to our customers and patients into one that is consistent, seamless, and meaningful.
Your mission is to lead a high-caliber engineering team in evolving our digital landscape from a collection of siloed tactics into a sophisticated, integrated omnichannel ecosystem. By bridging the gap between technical rigor and creative journey orchestration, you will create a scalable engine that harmonizes a responsive brand experience across all channels.
Key Responsibilities:
Define and deploy the strategic engineering framework for US Commercial digital engagement, ensuring the technology stack is modular, scalable, and resilient against future industry shifts.
Drive the end-to-end integration of the Adobe Marketing Suite and other enterprise automation platforms to ensure every technical deployment drives measurable business impact.
Evolve digital engagement from a collection of channels into a sophisticated, unified ecosystem by leveraging automation and data-driven insights to deliver clinical relevance at the optimal moment.
Partner across Marketing and Sales to dismantle operational silos, ensuring a consistent 360-degree customer view that connects in-person field interactions with digital channels.
Bridge the gap between creative journey mapping and technical execution, transforming individual touchpoints into a continuous, value-driven conversation across all channels.
Responsible for co-creating strategic roadmaps with business, ensuring the high-quality delivery of features that align with long-term commercial goals.
Replace manual workflows with a programmatic, data-driven engine that optimizes the channel mix and maximizes brand impact across the pharmaceutical portfolio.
Support the business case for new capabilities, managing headcount and vendor budgets to scale digital engagement effectively across the enterprise.
Lead a high-performing engineering team, cultivating an inclusive culture and implementing process improvements to remove roadblocks and ensure a sustainable work pace.
Who You Are
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or Business (Master’s preferred).
5+ years in people leadership/program management with a track record of building high-performing technical teams.
2+ years of experience within Pharma, Biotech, or regulated Healthcare technology, possessing a deep understanding of the compliance and regulatory landscape is highly preferred.
Proven expertise in orchestrating complex digital marketing ecosystems, specifically managing the integration of in-person field interactions and digital customer journeys.
Deep technical expertise across the Adobe Experience Cloud, including Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO), Customer Journey Analytics (CJA), Experience Manager (AEM), Campaign Manager, Assets, and Workfront.
Expertise in creative journey mapping and the execution of digital campaigns using agile methodologies and enterprise-level automation.
A servant leader capable of navigating ambiguity and dismantling silos to drive innovation and align team growth with mission-critical goals.
The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of South San Francisco, CA is $173,200 - $321,600. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
