At Scoutbee, we’re building the world’s most intelligent supplier discovery and qualification platform, powered by AI and backed by a rapidly growing network of global buyers and suppliers. We’re growing fast and hiring a Senior Product Full-Stack Engineer to drive activity and engagement across our buyer-supplier marketplace. In this role, you’ll ensure buyers are actively using the platform to find suppliers and publish sourcing events, while keeping suppliers engaged and aligned with demand. The result: real value for suppliers, better outcomes for buyers, and a marketplace that grows sustainably over the long term.

This is a highly strategic and cross-functional role. You’ll work across product, growth, supplier experience, and customer success - connecting the dots to unlock marketplace potential. You’ll engage with senior leaders, shape segment-specific strategies, and lead programs from concept to execution.

Your role in our beehive:

  • Full-Stack Expertise: Build robust front-end experiences with Typescript, NextJS, React, and Vercel, while architecting scalable back-end systems with PostgreSQL, Inngest, and Pinecone.
  • Product Development & Experimentation: Lead the design, development, and iteration of web applications that power our buyer–supplier network. Validate assumptions quickly through lightweight, low-overhead experiments.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Use analytics to extract actionable insights. When data is scarce, create rapid, cost-effective methods to test assumptions and guide decision-making.
  • Generative AI Innovation: Integrate and experiment with Gen AI models to deliver personalized recommendations and intelligent insights. Build evaluation pipelines to track and measure performance.
  • Rapid Experimentation: Test and refine product hypotheses at speed, iterating on both software and non-software solutions to address real user needs.
  • Scaling Product-Market Fit: Take products and use cases with early traction and scale them from near zero adoption to hundreds of thousands of users - ensuring reliability, efficiency, and robustness at every stage of growth.

What you bring to our beehive:

  • Full Stack Mastery: Extensive experience in full-stack development with a strong emphasis on backend systems.
  • Frontend Technologies: Deep knowledge of NextJS and React, with experience deploying via Vercel or self-hosted NextJS stacks.
  • Backend Technologies: Proven skills in NodeJS and PostgreSQL, with familiarity in workflow orchestration tools such as Inngest or Temporal, vector databases, and building Generative AI / RAG applications.
  • Product Focus: Ability to deeply understand user problems, collaborate within a lean cross-functional team, and lead product-driven discussions.
  • Data-Driven Approach: Strong analytical mindset, able to extract insights from data and devise creative, cost-effective methods when data is limited.
  • Autonomy & Initiative: Comfortable taking full ownership of projects in ambiguous environments, driving decisions independently and in collaboration with the team.
  • Rapid Experimentation: Ability to quickly validate assumptions and iterate solutions in a fast-paced setting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with Gen AI models and applying them to enhance user experiences.
  • Familiarity with additional tools such as SendGrid and HubSpot.
  • A proven track record of managing and iterating on large-scale datasets to drive product improvement and scalability.

What's in it for you?

  • Opportunity to help shape the world’s biggest procurement network
  • Work cross-functionally with top talent across GTM, product, and platform teams
  • Competitive compensation and wellness budgets
  • Remote-flexible, mission-driven culture committed to better global procurement

We'd love to hear from you!

At Scoutbee, we value personality, curiosity, and cultural fit more than perfect qualifications. If you’re unsure whether you tick every box, that’s okay. Imposter syndrome and self-doubt are real, but they shouldn’t hold you back. We believe not knowing everything can be a strength. It creates space for growth, learning, and fresh perspectives. We're here to support and learn from each other as we grow together.
