To meet and exceed this target, Stord is strategically scaling teams across the entire company, and seeking energetic experts to help us achieve our mission.

Stord manages over $10 billion of commerce annually through its fulfillment, warehousing, transportation, and operator-built software suite including OMS, Pre- and Post-Purchase, and WMS platforms. Stord is leveling the playing field for all brands to deliver the best consumer experience at scale.

With Stord, brands can increase cart conversion, improve unit economics, and drive sustained customer loyalty. Stord’s end-to-end commerce solutions combine best-in-class omnichannel fulfillment and shipping with leading technology to ensure fast shipping, reliable delivery promises, easy access to more channels, and improved margins on every order.

Hundreds of leading DTC and B2B companies like AG1, True Classic, Native, Seed Health, quip, goodr, Sundays for Dogs, and more trust Stord to deliver industry-leading consumer experiences on every order. Stord is headquartered in Atlanta with facilities across the United States, Canada, and Europe. Stord is backed by top-tier investors including Kleiner Perkins, Franklin Templeton, Founders Fund, Strike Capital, Baillie Gifford, and Salesforce Ventures.

Our ambition is simple: to build the most accurate, transparent, and intelligent billing platform in the industry. That's a hard problem. Our billing spans software, parcel, and fulfilment - each with distinct rate cards, data sources, and operational dependencies. Charge accuracy requires clean data flowing from multiple systems across Stord’s vertically integrated commerce stack, tight coordination with operations and finance, and a platform smart enough to catch issues before customers do.
As Senior PM for Billing, you'll own this domain end-to-end with a dedicated engineering team and an engineering manager behind you. You'll set the roadmap, lead discovery, and ship - but you'll also think bigger than the ticket queue. We want you to bring an AI-forward mindset: building intelligent audit pipelines, anomaly detection, agent-driven rate card setup from contracts, and customer-facing billing intelligence that gives brands real visibility into what they're being charged and why.
This role has extreme visibility. You'll present to and work with our senior leadership team, your work will be felt directly by hundreds of leading brands, and you'll be a key voice in how Stord earns and keeps trust at scale. If you want a billing role where the ceiling is the best billing product in the industry - not just a reliable invoice - this is it.

What You'll Do:Roadmap & Strategy
  • Own the billing platform roadmap end-to-end - setting clear priorities across invoicing, rate card management, charge automation, payment processing, and financial visibility for both internal teams and customers
  • Drive cross-functional alignment across parcel, fulfillment, and commerce (software) billing workstreams - acting as the connective tissue between Operations, Finance, and the product teams whose data feeds the billing platform (WMS, TMS, OMS, software billing)
  • Navigate complex upstream data dependencies: work with platform teams to ensure billing receives clean, timely, and complete data from across Stord's product suite as new capabilities are built and new Commerce products go live
  • Build new capabilities to support international Billing and more as Stord continues to expand
  • Set the vision for what best-in-industry billing looks like - not just accurate invoicing, but a proactive, AI-augmented platform that prevents errors, surfaces anomalies, and earns customer trust
AI & Intelligence
  • Lead the development of AI-powered billing capabilities: automated audit pipelines, anomaly detection on charge accuracy, and agent-driven rate card setup from customer contracts
  • Drive the roadmap for customer-facing billing intelligence - giving brands deep visibility into what they're being charged, why, and how it compares to expectations, through AI-powered reporting and billing agents
  • Partner with engineering to define how ML and LLM-based tooling can reduce manual billing intervention, catch discrepancies proactively, and improve the speed of dispute resolution
Discovery & Delivery
  • Write detailed, well-structured PRDs that define scope, acceptance criteria, edge cases, and success metrics - giving your dedicated engineering team the clarity to execute with confidence
  • Lead discovery for complex billing capabilities including billing API design, rate card logic, and resolution of upstream data quality issues that directly impact charge accuracy
  • Partner daily with your engineering manager; attend standups, grooming sessions, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives to keep roadmap items shipping on time and on spec across bi-weekly release cycles
  • Contribute user stories and bug tickets in Jira, keeping the discovery board current and prioritized
Stakeholder & Customer Visibility
  • Communicate clearly and confidently with SLT and CLT - this role has significant executive exposure as well as high customer impact
  • Serve as the internal voice of billing accuracy across Stord - escalating systemic issues, influencing upstream product decisions, and ensuring billing quality is treated as a company-wide priority
  • Support customer migrations to the billing platform and enable new Commerce products to bill correctly from day one
What You'll Bring
  • 5+ years of product management experience, with at least 2 years owning a billing, payments, or financial systems product in a B2B SaaS or logistics environment
  • A track record of shipping complex, data-intensive features with measurable accuracy and reliability improvements - you've moved the needle on charge accuracy at scale
  • Deep comfort with billing domain concepts: rate cards, invoicing logic, charge automation, payment processing, financial reconciliation, and audit trails
  • An AI-forward mindset - you've thought seriously about how LLMs, agents, and ML-based anomaly detection can change what a billing platform is capable of, and you're excited to build it. Even better if you already have.
  • Experience navigating complex upstream data dependencies - you understand that billing accuracy starts with data quality, and you know how to work across teams to fix it at the source
  • Strong analytical instincts - you use data to diagnose root causes, not just surface symptoms, and you're comfortable using SQL or similar tools to get there
  • Excellent written communication skills, with the executive presence to present clearly to SLT and CLT and write crisp PRDs that engineering can run with
  • Experience in fast-paced environments with frequent release cadences and strong cross-functional delivery expectations
Nice to Have
  • Experience in fulfilment, or at a supply chain SaaS platform
  • Exposure to billing systems that span multiple product lines, business units, or customer segments with differing rate structures
  • Experience building or speccing customer-facing financial reporting, billing portals, or invoice transparency features
  • Hands-on experience working with LLMs / Agentic workflows to automate document processing - contract parsing, rate card extraction, or similar
  • Experience supporting customer migrations to a new billing platform

Why Stord
  • The ceiling here is high - we want the best billing platform in the industry, and we're building the team and making the investments to get there
  • You'll have a dedicated engineering team and EM behind you, with the executive backing and cross-functional access to actually get things done
  • High visibility, real stakes - your work will be seen by hundreds of brands and reviewed at the highest levels of the business
  • We're an AI-first company - you won't have to fight to bring AI into your product, it's expected
