About Inflection AI

Inflection AI is a Public Benefit Corporation empowering people with human-centered, emotionally intelligent AI. We’re shaping the future of AI by combining emotional intelligence (EQ) and raw intelligence (IQ) to elevate people’s potential.
Inflection AI created Pi, the world’s first emotionally intelligent AI, to help people work through decisions, emotions, and challenges. Pi is a personal AI agent powered by Inflection AI’s foundation model, proving that AI can be personal, empathetic, and contextually aware.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and technical Senior Product Manager to help contribute to the development and evolution of our Consumer AI & Agents systems. You will report to the Head of Product for Customer Journeys and work cross-functionally with Engineering, Design, UXR, Data Analytics, Marketing, and Legal.

The ideal candidate will be adept at working closely with research and engineering teams to translate advanced AI capabilities into practical, user-centric product design.  You will be responsible for translating complex technical capabilities into delightful and convenient experiences for the world’s consumers as well as partnering with engineering and research to bring new technical capabilities into product experiences in this unprecedented moment of rapid technical change.

What You'll Do
  • Focus on the User: Use a combination of user research, data analysis, and A/B testing to guide product decisions and ensure we are building a product that is intuitive, trustworthy, and genuinely helpful.
  • Understand the Technology: Work closely with the underlying technology of the Inflection AI platform, including our proprietary LLMs and voice models, our fine-tuning processes for open-source models (e.g., Nemotron, Qwen, GPT-OSS), and our systems for constrained inference, memory, profile, and journeys.
  • Define and Drive the Roadmap: Contribute to the product strategy and own execution of the roadmap for your product area within Consumer AI & Agents
  • Drive Execution: Partner with engineering and research teams to deliver on the opportunity for elevating the human experience. Write detailed product requirements and technical specifications, define user stories, and manage the backlog in a fast-paced environment. Deliver cross-platform features that impact millions of users globally, ensuring high reliability, performance, and scalability.
  • Apply Technical Expertise: Demonstrate strong technical fluency in algorithms, distributed systems, and ML model optimization to evaluate design decisions, guide engineering trade-offs, and ensure product scalability and reliability.
  • Measure Success: Define, monitor, and analyze key product metrics such as engagement, retention, user satisfaction, and adoption of new capabilities. Partner with data science and analytics to run large-scale experiments (A/B and multivariate) and translate insights into product strategy.
  • Communicate Effectively: Collaborate cross-functionally and communicate priorities and progress to stakeholders and the broader team.
Who You Are (Minimum Qualifications)
  • 5-8 years of total experience, with 3+ years of product management experience, including shipping and scaling consumer-facing mobile (iOS/Android) and web products.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a closely related technical field (advanced degree preferred). The role requires advanced knowledge of computer science and AI/ML systems.
  • Experience working on products powered by AI/ML technologies is strongly preferred, including familiarity with APIs, inference systems, and distributed architectures.
  • Strong technical foundation with the ability to engage in substantive discussions with ML researchers and systems engineers, applying knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and model optimization.
  • Ability to apply advanced computer science principles to product design and translate complex AI/ML systems into user-facing features.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in Computer Science, AI, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a PM for products built directly on Large Language Models (LLMs), conversational AI, or autonomous agent frameworks.
  • Technical fluency in the modern AI landscape, with an ability to discuss the trade-offs between proprietary vs. open-source models, various fine-tuning techniques, and the architectural patterns for building AI agents.
  • Experience taking products from initial concept to significant scale (0-to-1).
  • Experience mentoring other PMs or leading cross-functional product initiatives at scale.
  • Strong product sense and user empathy, with a proven ability to deliver well-designed and intuitive user experiences.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset: you are comfortable with ambiguity, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and have a bias for action.
