Data Product Management at FloQast

FloQast is building the indispensable home base for the modern accountant: an AI-powered platform where accounting work is connected, automated, and intelligently executed. As we expand our Data Platform and Data Studio capabilities, we are making it faster and easier to connect source systems, model data, and publish trusted information across FloQast applications. Data Studio is a core part of that strategy, giving non-developers control of mapping data to FloQast models and enabling end-to-end data management without relying on IT for ongoing maintenance.

As a Product Manager on Data Platform and Data Studio, you will help drive tactical execution for one of FloQast’s most strategic product areas. You will work closely with senior product leaders, engineering, design, consultants, customers, partners, customer success, support, and Data Migration Engineers to translate strategy into actionable plans and shipped outcomes. This is a hands-on role for a technical PM who is eager, fast-moving, and comfortable operating in ambiguity.

What You'll Do:

You will participate in strategy, roadmap development, and prioritization, but your primary responsibility will be execution: driving detail, aligning cross-functional teams, unblocking work, shaping requirements, validating solutions, and helping the organization move with speed and clarity. You should be excited to work in an AI-first product organization that prototypes functional software quickly, iterates in the open, and uses real customer and stakeholder feedback to refine direction at a rapid pace.

  • Drive day-to-day product execution for Data Platform and Data Studio initiatives, turning strategic direction into clear requirements, sequenced plans, and shipped outcomes.

  • Partner closely with Engineering and Design to define, prototype, test, and deliver capabilities across connection, extraction, mapping, transformation, validation, publishing, and platform administration.

  • Collaborate deeply with consultants, customers, partners, customer success, support, and Data Migration Engineers to understand real-world integration needs, operational friction, and workflow requirements.

  • Translate customer, implementation, and internal stakeholder needs into product requirements, user flows, functional prototypes, and detailed execution plans.

  • Prototype and iterate on functional product concepts in an AI-first environment, using working software to clarify requirements, accelerate learning, and improve team velocity.

  • Own the details of execution across your area: backlog quality, acceptance criteria, dependency tracking, issue resolution, stakeholder follow-up, and release readiness.

  • Support product discovery and validation by participating in customer conversations, partner discussions, implementation reviews, internal feedback loops, and early testing.

  • Resolve data variances between source systems and published outputs to ensure accuracy, consistency, and trust in the data.

  • Support successful customer launches by ensuring source data is connected, validated, and published accurately into FloQast applications.

  • Ensure new capabilities are ready for real-world use by validating edge cases, coordinating launch details, and partnering with GTM and service teams on rollout readiness.

What You'll Bring:

  • 3+ years of experience in product management, technical product management, solutions product management, platform product management, or a similar role in a fast-moving SaaS environment.
  • Experience working on data platforms, integration products, workflow systems, internal tooling, or technically complex B2B software.
  • Ability to go from ambiguous problem space to clear requirements, practical scope, and executable plans without needing heavy structure or close oversight.
  • Strong execution instincts and a bias toward action. You know how to move work forward, unblock teams, and keep momentum high.
  • Experience collaborating across technical and non-technical stakeholders, including Engineering, Design, Services, Support, Customer Success, and external customers or partners.
  • Comfort operating in a high-velocity environment where prototyping, iteration, and rapid decision-making are part of the culture.
  • A growth mindset and real hunger to learn, contribute, and take on increasing responsibility over time.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with data integration, data modeling, ETL or ELT workflows, APIs, file-based ingestion, or metadata-driven platforms.
  • Familiarity with accounting, ERP, or financial systems such as NetSuite, Intacct, Workday, SAP, QuickBooks, Microsoft Business Central, or Xero.
  • Experience working on products used in implementation-heavy or customer-configured environments.
  • Experience using AI tools to accelerate product work such as prototyping, requirements development, analysis, synthesis, or delivery preparation.
  • Familiarity with accounting workflows such as close, journal entry management, reporting, consolidation, compliance, or related record-to-report processes.

Why You’ll Love Working With Us:

FloQast’s Data Platform team is a place where highly capable builders solve meaningful problems with real customer and company impact. You’ll work on foundational systems that expand how FloQast connects to the accounting ecosystem and powers experiences across the platform. This is a team where strong PMs can move fast, own meaningful execution, and make a visible difference.

We value initiative, technical curiosity, practical problem solving, and people who know how to turn direction into momentum. You’ll work with experienced product leaders, strong engineering partners, and deeply engaged stakeholders who care about building real capability, not just writing plans. If you want to learn fast, ship meaningful work, and grow in an AI-first product organization, this is a strong place to do it.
