Data Product Management at FloQast
FloQast is building the indispensable home base for the modern accountant: an AI-powered platform where accounting work is connected, automated, and intelligently executed. Our Integrated Record-to-Report solution helps accounting teams accelerate reporting, build trust in their numbers, and make better strategic decisions by bringing together consolidation, variance analysis, financial reporting, and connected accounting workflows on one platform. FloQast’s positioning in this area centers on smoother reporting operations, stronger confidence in the numbers, better visibility, and faster decision-making powered by accounting-centered AI.
As a Senior / Principal Product Manager for Record to Report, you will work directly with product leadership to define and execute the vision, strategy, roadmap, and go-to-market approach for one of FloQast’s most strategic product lines. You will be directly partnered with the Senior Director of Engineering for this area and play a central role in shaping how FloQast helps customers move from close to reporting with greater speed, accuracy, and confidence.
What You'll Do:
Collaborate with Product leadership to define and execute the vision, strategy, roadmap, and go-to-market efforts for FloQast’s Record to Report business unit and product line.
Partner with the Senior Director of Engineering to align product and engineering direction, sequence major initiatives, manage tradeoffs, and drive execution across the portfolio.
Execute product strategy across key Record to Report workflows, including consolidation, variance analysis, and financial reporting.
Lead the embedding of AI across the Record to Report experience to improve speed, quality, trust, and usability for accounting teams.
Coach the PM team supporting the product line by bringing clarity to problem spaces, sharpening priorities, improving execution quality, and helping skills grow.
Drive cross-functional alignment across Engineering, Design, Customer Success, Implementation, Support, Sales, Marketing, and executive stakeholders.
Own complex product decisions from discovery through delivery, including market framing, requirements, prioritization, rollout planning, customer validation, and post-launch learning.
Guide GTM efforts with strong product narratives, packaging inputs, field enablement support, and close partnership with commercial teams.
This is a high-impact role for someone who can operate as both strategist and executor. You will help lead the business, drive product direction, and player-coach a team of product managers while staying close to customers, partners, engineering, design, and go-to-market teams. You should be excited to work in an AI-first product organization that prototypes quickly, iterates aggressively, and uses real software and real customer feedback to refine direction at high velocity.
What You'll Bring:
- 7+ years of product management experience with meaningful ownership of complex B2B SaaS products.
- Strong track record leading product strategy and execution for technically complex or workflow-heavy products.
- Ability to operate at multiple altitudes: shaping long-term strategy, making sharp roadmap calls, and staying close to execution details when needed.
- Strong product and business judgment that can identify the critical requirements, make hard prioritization decisions, and keep teams focused on meaningful outcomes.
- A player-coach mindset. You know how to elevate other PMs, improve the quality of product thinking around you, and raise the standard without becoming a bottleneck.
Nice to have:
- Familiarity with accounting, ERP, or financial systems such as NetSuite, Intacct, Workday, SAP, QuickBooks, Microsoft Business Central, or Xero.
- Experience in accounting, finance, controllership, ERP, reporting, consolidation, close, or adjacent financial systems.
- Familiarity with record-to-report workflows, including close, reconciliations, journal entries, consolidation, reporting, compliance, or variance analysis.
- Experience building products for accountants, controllers, finance systems teams, or the office of the CFO.
Why You’ll Love Working With Us:
FloQast’s Record to Report team is building one of the most important product lines in modern accounting software. You’ll work on meaningful problems that sit at the heart of how companies close, report, and operate with confidence. This is a chance to shape a product area that directly impacts finance and accounting leaders while helping define how AI should be used in high-trust accounting workflows.
You’ll work closely with strong product and engineering leadership, help guide talented PMs, and have real influence on strategy, execution, and market impact.
