MongoDB is looking for a Senior Product Manager to define and execute the strategy for our Developer and Agentic Experience across MongoDB Atlas which is our best-in-class, fully managed, multi-cloud database service.

In this role, you will shape how developers, platform teams, and AI agents build on and operate Atlas through programmatic interfaces such as APIs, CLI, Agent Skills, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). You will turn complex infrastructure operations into intuitive, reliable, and increasingly automated experiences that accelerate customer adoption and drive Atlas growth.

You will own the vision, strategy, and 12-month roadmap, including how Atlas evolves to support AI agents. AI agents are changing how teams build and operate cloud infrastructure, and this role will shape how Atlas leads that change.

We are looking to speak to candidates who are based in Dublin for our hybrid working model.

What you’ll do
  • Own the vision, strategy, and 12-month roadmap for Developer and Agentic Experience, balancing the needs of developers, platform teams, enterprise customers, and the AI agents.
  • Simplify how customers build and operate Atlas by evolving individual programmatic capabilities into cohesive, end-to-end workflows for deploying, operating, and optimizing Atlas
  • Shape Atlas's agentic experience by making Atlas easy for AI agents to discover, understand, and safely operate, while keeping developers in control
  • Drive adoption and revenue growth by identifying high-impact opportunities across programmatic experiences and defining their business models, pricing, and packaging
  • Lead customer discovery and product validation with developers, platform teams, and enterprise customers, translating qualitative and quantitative insights into product decisions
  • Partner closely with engineering and design to frame problems, define requirements, make tradeoffs, and deliver high-quality products from discovery through launch and iteration
  • Own product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market for your products, translating product value into compelling customer narratives and driving launches and adoption in partnership with Sales and Customer Success
  • Establish clear success metrics for adoption, retention, and Atlas consumption through programmatic usage, using product analytics, customer feedback, and market signals to evaluate progress and adjust priorities
  • Communicate product direction and decisions clearly to senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders, including the rationale behind what we will and will not build
What you’ll bring
  • 7+ years of product management experience, including ownership of complex technical products used by developers or technical teams
  • A track record of defining product strategy and delivering products used by technical audiences, ideally across developer tools, CLIs, APIs, agentic platforms, Infrastructure-as-code(IaC), or cloud platforms
  • Experience growing adoption and revenue for a product, including business cases, pricing and packaging, and go-to-market plans
  • Experience translating ambiguous customer and business problems into focused strategies, product narratives, roadmaps, and prioritized execution plans
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through influence across engineering and product teams without relying on formal authority
  • Experience building and scaling products for enterprise customers and individual developers, balancing the needs of large organizations, technical teams, and individual developers
  • Excellent customer instincts, including the ability to lead high-stakes conversations with enterprise customers
  • Comfort working with AI-enabled product experiences and evaluating where automation, guidance, and human control create the most value
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to make complex technical concepts clear and compelling
  • A bias toward action, disciplined prioritization, and the judgment to make decisions with incomplete information
Nice to have
  • Familiarity with MongoDB, Atlas, or comparable database or cloud platforms
  • Experience with developer platforms and infrastructure as Code(IaC) tools such as CLI, APIs,Terraform or cloud provider tooling
  • Experience building products for AI agents, such as MCP servers, agent skills, or AI coding tool integrations
  • Experience with self-serve growth, developer onboarding, or usage-based pricing
  • Experience working across cloud and local development environments
