The Opportunity

With 45M+ users, Postman is the world’s foremost API management and collaboration platform. Postman is seeking a strategic and results-driven leader who is passionate about APIs, partnerships, ecosystems, collaboration, and developer success.

As the Senior Product Manager for Ecosystem, Developer Tools, you will define the strategy, goals, roadmap, and execution for developer tooling that enables ecosystem developers and partners to build reliable, performant, and impactful apps on Postman. You will own the complete end‑to‑end app developer experience, from onboarding and “time to joy” to long‑term adoption, retention, and growth. Under your influence, the Postman app ecosystem will scale from dozens to thousands by helping app developers find success on Postman.

This position is based in San Francisco.

What You’ll Do
  • Define and own the product vision and roadmap for app developer tooling and adoption and align it to company objectives and measurable outcomes.

  • Engage directly with developers, product engineers, and API platform teams to deeply understand workflows and pain points; convert insights into clear strategy and prioritized backlogs.

  • Partner with Engineering, Design, Developer Relations, and Data Science to write crisp PRDs, define success metrics, and iterate quickly using experiments and fast feedback loops.

  • Use qualitative and quantitative methods to set goals, evaluate progress, and drive decisions; communicate insights and tradeoffs with clarity to executives and cross-functional partners.

  • Plan and execute launches in collaboration with Product Marketing, Sales, Support, and Customer Success; ensure strong enablement, documentation, and adoption programs.

About You
  • 8+ years of product management experience in developer tools, platforms, or collaboration products; you’ve shipped impactful products end-to-end and at scale.

  • Strong understanding of API technologies and developer workflows; familiarity with tools like Postman, GitHub, Jira, Slack, Docker, and modern CI/CD.

  • Exceptional communication and storytelling; can bridge technical and non-technical audiences and drive alignment across functions and levels.

  • Demonstrated leadership in ambiguous spaces; you prioritize ruthlessly, move fast, and iterate based on data and customer feedback.

  • A track record of mentoring PMs or leading cross-functional squads with a collaborative, growth-minded approach.

  • Comfort with at least 4+ hours overlap with Bangalore, India (open to early or late PST calls).

The reasonably estimated base salary for this role ranges from $200,000 to $230,000, plus a competitive equity package. Actual compensation is based on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
