About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and hands-on Lead Product Manager to lead and deliver our Procure-to-Pay initiatives within the IT Business Applications team. This is a high-impact individual contributor role responsible for business process optimization and systems automation across the Procure-to-Pay domain, with a specific focus on sourcing, purchase requisitions, purchase orders, vendor management, invoicing, and accounts payable across Coupa and NetSuite.

This is a unique opportunity to modernize the procure-to-pay process and strengthen the integration between Coupa and NetSuite ERP, driving measurable improvements in spend visibility, procurement cycle time, and payables efficiency. You will engage and collaborate with executives and operational leaders across Procurement, Finance, Accounts Payable, and Vendor Management teams, as well as with an IT offshore delivery team.

Key Responsibilities

  • NetSuite/Coupa Procure-to-Pay Ownership
    • Own and manage the end-to-end Procure-to-Pay product lifecycle across Coupa and NetSuite, including roadmap, enhancements, and continuous improvement
    • Serve as the primary subject matter expert for Procure-to-Pay processes, covering sourcing, requisitioning, purchase orders, vendor onboarding, invoicing, and AP
    • Define, document, and optimize Procure-to-Pay business processes to support Procurement, Finance, and Accounts Payable teams
    • Partner with Procurement and Finance to ensure accurate, efficient purchasing and invoice processing, reducing manual effort, maverick spend, and payment cycle times
  • Procure-to-Pay Strategy & Roadmap
    • Own and manage the Coupa/NetSuite Procure-to-Pay technology stack lifecycle, maintaining a minimum four-quarter rolling roadmap of business capabilities
    • Collaborate with functional leadership and stakeholders to align priorities and sequencing across Coupa (Sourcing, Procurement, Invoicing) and NetSuite ERP
    • Provide strategic guidance on process design and technology footprint for internal procurement and finance teams, with hands-on involvement in implementations
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Requirements
    • Meet with business leaders, decision makers, systems owners, and end users to define business requirements and system goals
    • Facilitate structured discovery sessions to understand problem statements, assess business impact, and capture detailed requirements
    • Manage project and enhancement prioritization with business teams and set clear expectations on deliverables and timelines
  • Delivery & Implementation
    • Lead, deliver, and support Coupa and NetSuite ERP projects related to the Procure-to-Pay and vendor management areas
    • Develop functional and high-level technical design documents for new business requirements and deliver specifications to the IT offshore delivery team
    • Work closely with offshore Coupa/NetSuite development teams to define and implement solutions within sprint delivery cycles
    • Implement new business processes and improve existing ones, ensuring industry best practices are followed
    • Interact with cross-functional IT teams to align requirements and understand downstream system impacts, including integrations between Coupa, NetSuite, and banking/payment systems
  • Quality & Enablement
    • Support business users in completing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and drive timely delivery of system enhancements
    • Document business process flows and requirements aligned with the sprint/agile process
    • Establish and maintain scalable processes that uphold best practices across the technology organization
    • Provide end-user training as needed on Coupa and NetSuite Procure-to-Pay capabilities

Required Experience

  • 10+ years of IT experience across the full software development lifecycle: analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and documentation
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with NetSuite ERP, including configuration, administration, and process design
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Coupa - specifically Sourcing, Procurement, and Invoicing modules
  • Demonstrated experience delivering Procure-to-Pay solutions in complex, multi-entity or multi-vendor environments
  • Strong knowledge of downstream financial processes including accounts payable, three-way matching, and vendor payment processing

Skills & Competencies

  • Deep understanding of Procure-to-Pay concepts: approval workflows, purchase order matching, invoice exception handling, and vendor lifecycle management
  • Excellent leadership and project delivery skills with a proven track record of managing cross-functional initiatives
  • Strong communication skills, able to engage both technical teams and non-technical business stakeholders effectively
  • Ability to prioritize and execute in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Flexible and adaptable in learning new technologies and evolving business requirements
  • Highly self-motivated, self-directed, and a collaborative team player

Education

  • Bachelor's degree (4-year) in a technical or business field required
  • NetSuite and/or Coupa certifications strongly preferred

What Makes This Role Unique

This is a ground-floor opportunity to build and shape the Procure-to-Pay platform for a growing organization. You will have direct influence over platform modernization, process design, and roadmap prioritization, working closely with executive sponsors and cross-functional procurement and finance leaders. If you thrive at the intersection of business strategy, product management, and Coupa/NetSuite platform expertise, this role offers a rare combination of ownership, impact, and growth.
