The opportunity:

We're looking for a Senior Product Manager to join Flexport's Ops Tech product team and own a critical part of how we empower internal operators and optimize global logistics execution. You'll define the vision and roadmap for import operations technology, ship features that drive measurable efficiency and cost savings, and collaborate with engineering, design, data science, and global operations teams to solve hard execution problems at scale.

Flexport's platform powers every stage of global freight—from origin booking to destination execution and final warehouse delivery. The products you build will be used daily by freight operators, drayage teams, customs specialists, and logistics managers who keep goods moving around the world. This is a high-impact role for someone who combines strong product instincts with deep analytical skills and comfort navigating complex physical and digital logistics workflows.

You will:
  • Own the product strategy and execution roadmap for Ops Tech end-to-end—from problem discovery through launch, adoption, and iteration
  • Define and deliver product features that improve destination dwell management, control demurrage expenses, and elevate on-time delivery metrics
  • Build high-efficiency internal operator tools and AI-driven automation that simplify complex, multi-step freight execution workflows
  • Establish quantitative frameworks to track operational metrics, platform health, operator productivity, and cost-to-serve reductions
  • Partner deeply with Engineering, Design, Global Operations, and Commercial leadership to translate physical trade constraints into software solutions
  • Communicate strategy, trade-offs, and outcomes with clarity and conviction in executive-facing forums
You should have:
  • 6+ years of product management experience (or domain-relevant experience), shipping products in complex, data-dense environments
  • Strong analytical & quantitative skills: Proficient in SQL, comfortable working with complex datasets, and skilled at building data-driven metrics frameworks
  • Domain Focus: Experience building B2B workflow software, internal operator platforms, supply chain execution systems, or freight technology
  • Complex Workflow UX: Demonstrated ability to streamline intricate operational tasks into intuitive user interfaces for heavy daily users
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proven ability to partner closely with designers, engineers, and frontline operations teams to prioritize features and manage dependencies
  • Executive Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly when explaining technical trade-offs, prioritization frameworks, and business impact
