SageSure, a leader in catastrophe-exposed property insurance, is seeking a Senior Software Product Manager to help drive the strategy, development, and delivery of critical software products and platforms that support our business, customers, and partners. This role will work closely with engineering, QA, design, and data partners on a cross-functional software product team, while collaborating with stakeholders across the organization to identify opportunities, solve complex business challenges, and deliver high-impact solutions.

This is a highly collaborative and technical role that owns product outcomes supporting company growth, operational excellence, and customer experience. We're looking for someone who values strategic thinking, data-driven decision making, and strong execution, while partnering effectively across business and technology teams.

What you’d be doing:

  • Define and communicate product vision, strategy, and roadmap for key software products and capabilities.
  • Partner with stakeholders to identify business needs, evaluate opportunities, and prioritize initiatives that drive measurable outcomes.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, QA, design, and data teams throughout product discovery, delivery, and iteration.
  • Translate complex business problems into scalable product solutions.
  • Develop and maintain product roadmaps that align with organizational priorities and strategic objectives.
  • Leverage qualitative and quantitative data to inform product decisions, prioritize investments, and measure success.
  • Lead product discovery efforts, including user research, requirements gathering, and solution validation.
  • Drive alignment across stakeholders and facilitate decision-making in complex or ambiguous situations.
  • Continuously improve product management practices and contribute to a culture of innovation, learning, and operational excellence.
  • Promote strong cross-functional collaboration and build trusted relationships across teams.
  • Proactively engage with team members, partners, peers, and leaders through in-person meetings, office visits, and offsite events to strengthen collaboration and business outcomes.

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • 5-7+ years of product management experience, preferably in software or technology-focused environments.
  • Experience managing products throughout the full product lifecycle, from discovery and strategy through delivery and optimization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize information from multiple sources and make data-driven decisions.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and balance competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and drive alignment across cross-functional teams.
  • Ownership mentality with the ability to operate strategically while also diving into execution details when needed.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with business, technical, and executive audiences.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a passion for solving meaningful problems and delivering measurable value.
  • Ability and willingness to travel periodically for team meetings, stakeholder engagement, office visits, and company events, estimated at approximately 10–15% annually.

Highly preferred candidates also have:

  • Experience working closely with software engineering teams and modern product development practices.
  • Experience building products that support operational workflows, customer experiences, or enterprise business processes.
  • Background in insurance, financial services, SaaS, or other technology-enabled industries.
  • Familiarity with agile product development methodologies and product management best practices.
  • Experience leveraging data, analytics, and experimentation to inform product strategy and measure impact.
