About the company
Our client is a software company.
The role
Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Lead the strategy and delivery of an early-stage product line, guiding it through rapid iteration while working side by side with users, engineers and designers. Shape simple, polished experiences for complex workflows, support sales conversations and help inform wider platform direction.
What you'll do
- Own product strategy and execution for an emerging product line, iterating quickly on a live pilot release and learning what customers truly need.
- Meet regularly with pilot customers and end users to understand their frustrations and turn what you learn into clear, intuitive experiences.
- Partner with engineering and design to ship high-quality features, build quick prototypes with AI and design tools, and give detailed design feedback.
- Support pre-sales efforts by presenting the product roadmap to senior customer stakeholders and helping open up new customer segments.
- Spend roughly 20% of your time on platform-level thinking, identifying capabilities that could be reused across other applications.
Requirements
What we're looking for
- 4 to 7 years of product management experience.
- A record of building user-facing products rather than infrastructure, platform or operations tooling.
- Startup experience at a vertical SaaS or AI-focused company.
- A path into product management from implementation, consulting or customer-facing technical work.
- Comfort using AI tools and agents in day-to-day work.
- Ability to create simple prototypes with common design and AI tools.
- Skill in gathering user insight through interviews and observation, and in charting how people move through a product.
- A strong drive to simplify workflows for non-technical users, with a founder mindset and sense of ownership.
