Overview

As a Senior Product Manager, you own the strategy, roadmap, and outcomes for a key product area within Rithum's commerce platform. You operate largely independently, tackle open-ended and ambiguous problems, and bring cross-functional teams together around a shared vision. You are expected to have deep expertise in your domain and leverage AI-powered capabilities to rapidly shape the next generation of commerce for the world's largest retailers and brands.

At Rithum, all team members are expected to leverage AI to work smarter, accelerate decision-making, automate repeatable work, and improve outcomes. You are encouraged to continuously identify opportunities to apply AI, data, and scalable processes to enhance productivity, drive innovation, and deliver greater value for our clients, partners, and teams while maintaining appropriate judgment, quality, security, and compliance.

Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Roadmap

  • Own the roadmap for your product area, making decisions on scope, sequencing, and trade-offs that align client needs with Rithum’s business goals.
  • Shape the vision and strategy for your product area, translating client and market insights into clear goals and measurable success metrics.
  • Use AI-assisted data exploration and analysis (e.g., natural language querying, chart interpretation, anomaly identification) to ground roadmap and prioritization decisions in evidence, verifying outputs before you rely on them.

Client Discovery & Advocacy

  • Champion the voice of our clients, triaging incoming requests with urgency and follow-through and building relationships grounded in trust.
  • Use AI tools to synthesize client interviews, support tickets, and survey feedback into themes, opportunity areas, and prioritization inputs that inform product decisions.
  • Prototype product concepts and workflows with AI (e.g., user flows, wireframe descriptions, low-fidelity mocks) to validate ideas and reduce risk before engineering investment.

Delivery & Execution

  • Lead product development from concept to launch (e.g., PRDs, prioritization, client discussions, testing and QA, change management, client adoption), holding yourself and your cross-functional team accountable for high-quality, timely delivery.
  • Track development progress, report status to stakeholders, and manage product release cycles, supporting testing and validation to ensure high-quality releases and a seamless user experience.
  • Use AI as a default for recurring deliverables such as PRDs, one-pagers, release notes, and status updates, leading each with what the reader needs and applying editorial judgment to keep quality and clarity high.

Collaboration & Influence

  • Collaborate with engineering, design, and partner teams to drive efficient business processes, improve team operations, and align client needs with internal objectives.
  • Influence designers, engineers, and cross-functional partners to deliver at a fast velocity while meeting product validation and QA standards.
  • Gain stakeholder buy-in on product strategies, goals, and initiatives, balancing urgency with resource availability, and mentor newer teammates by sharing the AI prompts and workflows that work.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3+ years of product management experience at a leading technology company or fast-growing startup, preferably in eCommerce or marketplace platforms.
  • Experience as a Product Manager on AI-powered products, AI workflows, or data and insights platforms.

  • Experience driving strategy and execution for complex, integrated software ecosystems, including unifying multiple platforms.
  • Experience delivering cross-functional projects with engineering and design teams.
  • Experience using product analytics tools to measure product performance and inform decisions.
  • Experience working directly with enterprise-level clients.
  • Experience using AI tools to synthesize client research, prototype product concepts and workflows, and draft product documentation (e.g., PRDs, release notes, one-pagers), applying editorial judgment to the output.
  • Experience using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Claude) to improve productivity through research, communication, analysis, documentation, automation, workflow optimization, and decision-making.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of product management experience.
  • Experience working on a global product management team.
  • Experience working with vendors and internal teams to deliver projects.
  • Intrapreneurial or founder mindset with a positive, growth-oriented outlook and a strong bias to action.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including tailoring your message to any audience and explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
