Overview

The Senior Product Manager is responsible for defining and driving the long-term product vision, strategy, and execution for Common Language Information Services.

Responsibilities

This role combines strategic leadership, market-driven innovation, and end-to-end product lifecycle ownership.

A key aspect of this role is understanding the service provider ecosystem and how Common Language Information Services can be used, in combination with other key TNS services, to support our service provider customers as they transition from a traditional to IP-based network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and own the long-term product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with company objectives and market needs.
  • Identify new product and service opportunities within the telecommunications ecosystem.
  • Lead complex, large-scale initiatives from concept to launch.
  • Own and manage the 3+ year product roadmap and prioritization across quarterly and annual planning horizons.
  • Partner with Product Owners and delivery teams using Agile methodologies.
  • Develop business cases, pricing strategies, and go-to-market plans.
  • Lead Common Language Information Services strategy, including CLLI, CLEI, and related identifiers and how these standards can be used to support service provider customer needs as they transition from traditional to IP-based network infrastructure.
  • Lead cross-functional teams (engineering, design, marketing) to deliver, ensuring shared understanding of the roadmap.
  • Utilize metrics and user feedback to identify opportunities, iterate on products, and define success.
  • Engage with industry standards bodies to ensure alignment and influence future standards.
  • Act as a subject-matter expert for Common Language capabilities with customers and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of product management experience in telecommunications or high-tech environments.
  • Demonstrated success launching products and executing GTM strategies
  • Strong cross-functional leadership and executive communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree or MBA preferred
  • Experience with Common Language Information Services within a service provider environment.
  • Cloud-based SaaS product experience a plus.
  • For this role, we anticipate paying $145,000k - $155,000K. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form. Any compensation range provided for a role is an estimate determined by available market data. The actual amount may be higher or lower than the range provided considering each candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities, and geographic location. TNS offers a competitive benefit package including medical and dental coverage, life insurance, paid holidays and vacations, and a 401K plan with company match.
  • Experience working with industry standards organizations (ATIS, OBF, ETSI, ITU, TMF) a plus.
