Why Kikoff:

This is a consumer fintech startup, and you will be working with serial entrepreneurs who have built strong consumer brands and innovative products. We value extreme ownership, clear communication, a strong sense of craftsmanship, and the desire to create lasting work and work relationships. Yes, you can build an exciting business AND have real-life real-customer impact.

The Role

We are looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager to lead the strategic narrative and inbound go-to-market engine for Kikoff—the #1 credit-building app. Having empowered over 1 million customers on their financial journeys, we are now entering a phase of rapid portfolio expansion.

This is a high-impact role for a seasoned PMM who thrives in the "upstream." You won’t just be launching features; you will be an essential partner to the Product organization, shaping what we build next through exploratory research and validating product-market fit for entirely new concepts. This is your opportunity to build the scalable systems that define how a category-leader wins.

In this role you will:
  • Architect the Strategic Narrative: You will lead the development of the foundational messaging frameworks and positioning for our product suite. You'll ensure our story is differentiated, defensible, and resonates deeply with the financial aspirations of millions.
  • Drive Inbound Strategy & Exploration: You will spearhead exploratory work to identify market signals before products are built. You’ll oversee customer discovery, conduct deep-dive interviews, and translate ambiguous pain points into concrete product roadmaps.
  • Build Strategic Moats: You will drive the design and execution of rigorous experiments to optimize pricing, packaging, and positioning. Your work will deliver measurable lifts in activation and monetization, ensuring our products are as commercially viable as they are impactful.
  • Act as the Cross-Functional Connective Tissue: You will align diverse teams—Product, Growth, Design, Data, and Creative—around the highest-impact opportunities. You'll drive follow-through across dependencies and resolve organizational gaps to protect outcomes.
  • Scale a World-Class Team: You will manage and mentor a growing team of Product Marketers. Your focus will be on "talent architecture"—coaching experienced ICs through strategic hurdles while building a strong development pipeline for junior talent.
  • Establish Repeatable Excellence: You won't just solve problems; you'll build the playbooks. You will create the frameworks that make high-quality product marketing repeatable and scalable as we transition from a single product to a multi-faceted financial ecosystem.
What will make you successful:
  • A Proven Track Record: You have 5+ years of experience in Product Marketing
  • Sharp Inbound Instincts: You are most energized by the "blank page" phase of a project. you know how to turn raw customer insights into a winning product strategy and can validate demand through creative testing.
  • Strategic Ownership: You don’t wait for a roadmap—you define it. You are comfortable shaping priorities, making hard trade-offs, and communicating them clearly to senior leadership with both candor and care.
  • Analytical Rigor: You default to testing over assuming. You are fluent in data and use it to sharpen your intuition on positioning, pricing, and product direction.
  • Executive Presence: You have the ability to navigate high-growth environments, build trust with stakeholders you don't manage, and influence the company's "True North."
  • Mission Alignment: You are genuinely passionate about financial health. You understand that Kikoff succeeds only when our customers achieve their financial goals.
  • Relevant Sector Experience: You have a background in Fintech, Consumer Finance, or high-growth B2C. Familiarity with credit, lending, or highly regulated products is a significant plus.
