About the Role:

Your mission is to establish and run a highly efficient "deal desk" that manages the lifecycle of advertising deals, from initial insertion order to on-air flighting. You will be the central quarterback, responsible for creating a seamless operational framework that balances revenue generation with a delightful user experience. You will be at the center of our monetization strategy, collaborating closely with Revenue Operations, Sales, Product, Engineering, and QA, to ensure our ad products are executed flawlessly and thoughtfully.

This is a hybrid role based out of either our SF, LA, or NYC office. The hybrid schedule is 3 days a week

What You'll Do:

  • Quarterback Cross-Functional Execution: Serve as the primary driver and coordinator between Sales, Revenue Operations, Product, Engineering, and QA to manage the successful flighting and delivery of ad campaigns.
  • Champion User Experience: Partner with the Product team to establish and enforce guardrails that protect user engagement, ensuring that ad implementations do not detract from the viewer experience.
  • Analyze Revenue and Engagement Trade-offs: Assess the ROI of ad deals, making smart, data-informed decisions that weigh revenue opportunities against potential impacts on user engagement and retention.
  • Drive Operational Excellence: Create and maintain the end-to-end operational playbook for ad campaign execution, identifying bottlenecks and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and communication.
  • Lead Stakeholder Alignment: Foster exceptional cross-functional relationships, ensuring that teams from legal to engineering are aligned on priorities, timelines, and execution requirements for ad products.
  • Own Strategic Communication: Serve as the central point of communication for all ad operations initiatives, providing clear visibility into deal status, campaign performance, and process changes to all relevant teams.
  • Deal Velocity: A marked reduction in the time it takes for an ad deal to move from submission to going live on Tubi.
  • Operational Efficiency: The successful implementation of a streamlined and well-documented deal desk process, resulting in reduced friction and rework between teams.
  • Revenue & Engagement Balance: Successful execution of campaigns that meet or exceed revenue goals without negatively impacting key user engagement metrics.Navigate Complex Ad-Tech Landscapes: Work closely with legal and product teams to ensure all ad campaigns adhere to stringent compliance, privacy, and brand-safety requirements.
