The successful candidate will be the primary point of contact for all site expansion and rapid deployment initiatives, translating Waymo's operational needs into executable project plans for ABM's service lines (e.g., facilities management, janitorial, technical services, energy solutions).
Pay: $130,000 - $175,000

applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

Responsibilities Key Responsibilities
1. Project Planning & Execution (Rapid Deployment Focus)
- Lead End-to-End Project Lifecycle: Take ownership of multiple, concurrent, rapid-deploy projects from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring, and closing.
- Establish Aggressive Timelines: Develop and manage critical path schedules, often with compressed timelines (e.g., 30-90 day turnaround), to meet Waymo's urgent site activation needs.
- Scope Management: Clearly define project scope, deliverables, and resource requirements. Proactively manage changes in project scope, identifying potential risks and devising contingency plans.
- Resource Mobilization: Quickly coordinate and mobilize internal ABM resources (Operations, HR, Procurement, Technical Services) and external vendors to ensure readiness for new site launches.
2. Stakeholder Management & Communication
- Client Relationship: Serve as the primary project liaison between ABM leadership, local ABM Site Managers, and Waymo’s expansion/real estate teams.
- High-Cadence Reporting: Prepare and present regular, detailed project status reports (including schedule, budget, risks, and milestone achievements) to executive stakeholders on both the ABM and Waymo sides.
- Risk Mitigation: Anticipate, identify, and resolve complex project issues and roadblocks, escalating only when necessary and providing clear, data-driven solution recommendations.
3. Financial & Quality Control
- Budget Oversight: Develop accurate project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure projects are delivered within the approved financial parameters.
- Service Integration: Ensure that all deployed ABM services (e.g., HVAC maintenance, cleaning protocols, security integration) meet the established ABM quality standards and Waymo's site-specific requirements.
- Contract Management: Manage vendor and subcontractor selection, performance, and adherence to contractual terms and safety standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification is highly preferred
- At least 7 years of progressive project management experience, with a significant focus on facilities management, site infrastructure deployment, or corporate real estate projects
- Proven track record of successfully managing high-volume, rapid-turnaround site deployment or startup projects in a dynamic, high-tech, or industrial environment.
- Prior experience managing projects for large, globally recognized technology or autonomous vehicle companies (Waymo or similar client experience is a strong asset).
● Skills:
○ Expert proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Primavera).
○ Exceptional leadership, negotiation, organizational, and presentation skills.
○ Deep understanding of facilities operations (e.g., mechanical, electrical, plumbing, janitorial systems).
○ Ability to travel up to 25% to expansion sites across the designated region.
