JOB SUMMARY

This is a senior-level, hands-on project management role. You will own end-to-end delivery of Galtra projects and hardware production programs, from project ideation through delivery to the customer, with involvement in commissioning, startup, and warranty handoff where applicable. You will drive schedule, scope, risk, and supplier performance across contract manufacturers, engineering, supply chain, operations, and sales. You will also help build the project controls, tools, and processes that allow Galtra to scale, working with the central PMO that supports our group of companies. The Senior Project Manager is self-directed on day-to-day work, receives high-level direction on new projects, and is expected to make decisions, escalate early, and hold internal and external teams accountable to commitments. This person will communicate and operate in line with organizational goals and values, as well as departmental objectives.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Own project delivery from kickoff to customer handoff, including schedule, scope, budget, risk, and change control • Establish and maintain project controls: master schedules, critical path, action and decision logs, risk registers, and weekly project reviews focused on decisions, blockers, owners, and gates
  • Manage contract manufacturers and fabricators, including verification of material availability, capacity, and engineering release • Validate supplier and manufacturing schedules rather than relying on reported completion dates
  • Challenge unrealistic dates and unsupported commitments, and present leadership with clear options, impacts, and required decisions
  • Build and enforce recovery plans with dated commitments when suppliers or internal teams fall behind, and escalate risks before they become schedule impacts
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, Sales, and executive leadership to align design, vendor capacity, cost targets, and delivery schedules
  • Manage submittals, technical comments, RFIs, revisions, and approvals, and ensure technical decisions are documented and communicated to internal teams, customers, suppliers, and manufacturing partners
  • Establish and enforce readiness criteria for design freeze and release to manufacture, and do not release or ship equipment without evidence of readiness and required approvals Galtra Solutions, LLC © 2026 confidential & proprietary Senior Project Manager
  • Track shipment readiness, approved drawings, and bill of material accuracy against customer requirements • Collaborate with Manufacturing and Quality on inspection points, acceptance criteria, and test requirements before production begins, and track their definition and approval
  • Lead readiness reviews for production, FAT, and shipment, and drive closure of punch-list items, quality issues, and documentation gaps
  • Coordinate and support prototyping, first-article builds, and FAT/FWT, including travel to supplier facilities as needed • Support equipment commissioning, startup, and transition to warranty and maintenance programs
  • Define and improve project management processes, templates, and reporting in partnership with the central PMO
  • Produce clear, concise status reporting and executive-level updates Complete assigned deliverables on time and within budget Perform other related duties as assigned.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS (ADVANCED LEVEL FOR ALL THE FOLLOWING UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED)

  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership, make decisions with incomplete information, and push back on suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders when commitments are at risk
  • Proven experience managing projects or programs with contract manufacturers, fabricators, or outside suppliers
  • Strong command of schedule management, critical path, risk management, and change control
  • Experience building project management processes and tools in an environment with limited existing infrastructure
  • Proficiency with project and reporting tools (for example Smartsheet, MS Project, Power BI, or similar)
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and bills of material at a working level
  • Effective communicator across technical and non-technical audiences, including executives • Ability to manage multiple concurrent deliverables in a fast-paced, scaling environment
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote environment with minimal supervision
  • Ability to leverage AI and emerging technologies to optimize workflows and support innovation Galtra Solutions, LLC © 2026 confidential & proprietary Senior Project Manager
